Great for a little added security around your raised beds.
These garden fence animal barriers are very easy to install, and they look great. If you have raised beds and need a little extra protection from turtles or rabbits these are for you. They are good quality, I didn’t notice any burrs or sharp spots while I was installing and for added safety the kit includes a pair of gloves to use while installing if you need them. These small panels are a great value for the money and I love that the kit includes gloves, zip ties and a small handy pair of nippers to cut the extra off the zip ties so they look great. Please pay no attention to the state of my beds it’s not time to plant in my area yet, but it’s great to get started early!
Functional and easy to use
I’ve been dealing with rabbits digging under my fence, so I picked up this garden fence barrier to help reinforce the bottom edge. Overall, I’d describe it as a simple but effective solution for light to moderate digging issues. The panels are easy to position and install, especially since they’re designed as a no-dig option—you just press or tap them into the ground along your existing fence line.
One thing I appreciated right away is that the set comes with wire clippers and gloves. That made it much more convenient to adjust and install everything without needing to grab extra tools. The panels themselves feel sturdy enough for their intended purpose, and the rustproof coating is a nice touch for outdoor durability.
In terms of performance, it seems to be doing what it’s supposed to so far. The height and depth are about in line with how deep the rabbits in my yard have been digging, so I’m hopeful this will discourage them from continuing in those same spots. It’s not an extremely heavy-duty barrier, so I wouldn’t expect it to stop very determined or larger animals, but for small pests like rabbits, it appears to be a good deterrent.
I also like that the panels can be arranged flexibly depending on your yard layout. That made it easy to follow the contour of my fence without much hassle. Installation didn’t take long, and I didn’t need any special skills to get it done.
If you’re dealing with animals that dig deeper than a foot, this may not be sufficient on its own.

This Wire Garden fencing is useful for blocking off gaps under fencing and keeping small animals from getting in or out of an area. The wire is a little bendy but not too much and when connected in sections, it feels fairly sturdy. The description says they are 13 inches high but, that includes the part that you drive into the ground. In order to prevent digging, I would say it needs to be driven at least 6 inches or more into the ground. So the barrier part is going to be much shorter maybe 6 to 7 inches high. This works well for gaps along the bottom of fencing for smaller and perhaps medium dogs and rabbits. I used wire fencing to fill gaps under a fence that makes a barrier above a creek behind our house. It helps keep the dogs from trying to call under the gaps and going on adventures in the creek. I also use in around our chicken pen to help prevent predators from digging under (although most of them can climb or fly). It is easy to put in the ground. The seller includes a pair of garden gloves! They also include zip ties to attach the sections to each other. I used some very long zip ties to also attach it to the fencing above it. This is just to make it harder to dislodge. Also included is a nice pair of small nippers to cut off the ends of the zip ties. This was very much appreciated. If you don’t press too hard to actually cut the zip tie, you can also use these nippers to pull the zip tie tighter. I dropped a star because, when pounding the fencing in, the single wires that you pound into the ground are more flexible and will bend if you hit a hard dirt clod or if the ground is very hard. I had to bend a few back in place after they bent. I put them in after a rainy day and that was better. Where the wires form squares and cross each other- the actual barrier part – it is pretty stiff and not too bendy. I could not bend that part easily by stepping on it. Even with that bit of a problem though, I will probably get more of these sections because they are easier to put in that some other options.
Blocks small holes nicely
When we had our fence installed we opted to have it run so it was level instead of following the ground. Because of that we have a couple small gaps that the dogs who visit us often like to try to stick their noses through. To try to discourage them from doing that and trying to squeeze out I wanted to get an easy to install barrier. While this would not keep out a very determined digger, it is plenty for my needs to simply block the small areas. I love that it comes with all the zip ties, clippers, and gloves to use during install. They will easily press down into my ground. It’s not really a “fence” per se, but works great for my needs. Could also be used for a small decorative area.
