My 75lb dog DESPERATELY wants to meet the neighbor dogs behind us, and they want to meet him too. Mostly they work on digging nose-holes to lick and bark at each other, but the neighbor and I are both worried about them compromising the integrity of the fence. I ordered these slightly too early in the year to fully use, but with some of the spring thaw that we’ve gotten I was able to try out a few panels where the ground is soft. These panels are nicely sized, strongly constructed, and they inserted easily into my lawn without the need for a mallet (well, where the ground wasn’t frozen…). I love that they came equipped with zip-ties and gloves/clippers, even though so far the panels are working well as single, unattached units. Keep in mind that if you encounter rocks or difficult soil then you may struggle to get the spacing that you’d need for fully contiguous fencing.
Overall I’m fully satisfied with these panels as a dig-deterrent for my big boy. I recommend them for anyone with a similar purpose!

my German Shepherd kept going underneath the fence. He’s an escape artist. He’s tried to remove his no dig fences and he has not been able to. I’ve been able to keep him in the yard. I need to order more because he will find an opening wherever they’re not, the quality is good. The size is good and the value for the money easy to install steadiness the security is great.

We have a chain-link fence that has several holes at ground level. Not holes made by something like our dogs trying to get out of the yard, but holes made by something trying to get in! Raccoons maybe…we just don’t know.
I’ve tried several different things to fix this, like chicken wire, but it only lasts so long before they are broken again. Getting the sections of the chain-link replaces is an expensive proposition. That’s why I am so happy to have come across these metal, garden fence animal barriers. They are just what I’ve been looking for.
This kit comes with 15 all metal fence panels, with a total length (if you join them all together in a row) of 21.2 feet. Individually, each panel is 17 inches long and 13 inches high. The panels are made of rustproof, heavy-duty metal. The sellers description also adds that upgraded welding technology improves the stability of the fence panels. I can attest the panels are strong and should hold up well under conditions such as weather and dogs (or other beasts) trying to get through them.
Along with the 15 fence panels, you also get a pair of gloves, tie-wraps, and a pair of snippers for the tie wraps. The tie-wraps are to attach each panel together if you intend to use them all in a row to prevent your dog from digging under your fence. What I intend to use them for is to block the holes in my chain-link fence and tie-wrap the panel up against the chain-link. The bottoms of the panels have prongs that you pound into the ground using a rubber mallet creating an effective barrier.
These fence panels are really functional, and can be used in all sorts of different ways other than a fence barrier. You can use them in your garden, as a border for landscaping, etc. They are easy to install, but probably easier after it rains and the ground is a bit wet. They are made from quality metal, are sturdy, and definitely worth the money.
