What I like here is that it seems built for a pretty specific job and doesn’t try to overcomplicate it. The listing says it converts a 4-inch round tube gooseneck trailer to a 2-inch standard kingpin interface, which makes it a useful option if you already have a 5th-wheel hitch setup and don’t want to redo everything. The heavy-duty steel construction and reinforced rib design also make it look like a serious towing part, not a light-duty shortcut.

We have used a lot of FlexHitch products in the past and they make some of the best adapter products available on the market right now. And they are fairly reasonably priced too! Sometimes you just come across a trailer or go to pick one up that they obviously gave you the wrong specs for and you need an adapter. Solid & Heavy Duty
This is a solid and heavy-duty King Pin Adapter. The tube and connecting metal are very thick and heavy. The welds seem solid enough, but there is some slight splatter. The whole thing is coated well so it doesn’t matter as much as long as the welds are good. Overall, I am happy with it so far as it does the job and seems to be a good deal.
