I’m glad I ignored the “hard to assemble” reviews. The instructions are VERY detailed! It took me a couple of hours by myself, two people would cut that time significantly. It’s a really nice, sturdy piece of furniture! I’m very happy with it.
Fits the Home Office Chaos
This three drawer vertical file cabinet has been holding up my home office setup nicely, keeping papers sorted and the printer off the desk without eating up too much floor space. No problem with missing parts.
Farmhouse look in white and black blends well with my mixed decor, gives off that cozy rustic vibe without screaming country kitchen. Its not flimsy engineered wood either, feels solid once assembled and the metal slides glide smooth even after a few months of daily open close. It has sturdiness to it thanks to its weight, and I dont worry about it falling over.
For the price at time of review this delivers more function and style than basic metal cabinets that look cold and industrial. Great if you want organized files, extra storage and a piece that actually looks decent in the living room spillover area too.
Well made cabinet that looks great in our office
Some people might get overwhelmed by the assembly needed with this cabinet, but it wasn’t too bad. The quality of the instructions will make or break the assembly process. Fortunately, the instructions were detailed and accurate, making this a more rewarding experience.
Once put together, you can finally appreciate how it looks with the rest of your furniture. We don’t have any other cabinets in this style, but it fits in perfectly. It feels sturdy and well made. It has enough room for storage, whether you use it as an actual file cabinet or as storage for anything else you have around the house.
The cabinet is relatively expensive, so that may be a deterrent. Honestly, it’s priced appropriately for the quality material you are receiving.

This cabinet requires assembly and, happily, the instructions are some of the best I’ve seen lately. Each step is clearly drawn and explained on its own 8.5×11″ page in the manual. There are several types of hardware, and they all come in separate plastic bags, clearly labeled. All the parts are also labeled. And everything matches the labels in the instructions. It took me under an hour (but then, I have a lot of experience assembling furniture and my ego can handle careful reading of and methodical adherence to the instructions).
The finished cabinet is heavy and sturdy. No wobbling. It’s made of particleboard, so not the highest quality components, but the price (currently $130) reflects that.
The casters are metal, which is great. The locking mechanism on one of them is nonfunctional, which is a bummer, but fortunately I’m not planning to use this on an incline. I was not sure how I felt about the fifth caster at the base of the lowest cabinet’s face at the time I ordered this—it’s a little odd looking. However, it makes the cabinet so much more stable that I appreciate it more than I expected.
The drawers can take either letter or legal size hanging files. A nice touch is that you can switch back and frother between sizes without in assembling/reassembling the drawer.

I love this 3-drawer farmhouse file cabinet. The white wood finish paired with the black metal accents gives it such a sharp, modern farmhouse look. It feels and looks sturdy and high quality in person. I love putting together rooms that are “moody farmhouse” or “gothic farmhouse,”and this is perfect for that style.
Assembly was straightforward and surprisingly quick. It took my husband about an hour to put together, and the instructions were clear. Once assembled, it feels heavy, stable, and doesn’t wobble at all. The drawers slide smoothly and align well, which is always a relief with flat-pack furniture.
Although it’s marketed as a vertical file cabinet for letter/A4 documents, I’m using mine to store paint supplies, and it’s perfect for that. The drawers are roomy enough for art materials, craft supplies, office essentials, or general household storage. It would also work well as its intended filing cabinet, or storage cabinet in a home office or living room. It fits nicely into smaller areas or beside larger matching pieces.
This is a sturdy, attractive farmhouse storage cabinet that looks more expensive than it is. I’m very happy with it.
