Easy to assemble, has tabs to keep drawers closed, also heavy.
I like the tabs that keep the drawers secure. I have had other table boards in the past and always had to find some masking tape to secure the drawers shut before putting them back in the box or behind a piece of furniture for storage.

Adjusting the angle of the tilt is done from the back. The felt surface is lifted via the ribbon handle and then the adjustable bar is moved to change the tilt angle. The felt surface prevents puzzle pieces from sliding off. The puzzle I assembled on the table first had a smooth back. I was able to move the pieces across the surface easily and they also didn’t slip off when I raised the board.

The felt surface measures approximately 32 x 24 “. When it is tilted at an angle, only the felt assembly surface is angled so that there is no border around the surface to prevent pieces from being pushed over the sides. There is the border when it is flat. With a 500-piece puzzle, there is plenty of room to sort and place pieces while working on the puzzle.

It is just the right height for using at a sofa or regular chair. It is smaller than a card table so doesn’t take up that much space. When using at an angle, it helps to have another surface around to place the box with the puzzle pieces.

Assembly was easy. A screwdriver was included, but I used a cordless screwdriver, so it only took a few minutes to put the crossbars on the legs in place. The wood is unfinished. It is also smooth. This means it wasn’t snagging my clothing while I was brushing against it working on a puzzle, and won’t require sanding if I choose to paint or stain it for a more finished look. It is heavy, weighing over 20 pounds. The legs do have a little bit of wobble in them. I only noticed the wobble when I deliberately wiggled the table to see how secure the legs were. I did not notice any wobble when working on the puzzle, but I also did not rest an arm or put any significant weight on the table. The wing nuts on the legs can be tightened, but it isn’t recommended to do that and would have to be loosened again to fold the legs.

Assembly instructions could be better, but the table itself is wonderful
First, the positive: This is a fabulous jigsaw puzzle table. It is exactly the right height for working on a puzzle, plus the table top can be angled up to reduce bending. The felt on the tabletop holds the puzzle pieces securely. Four little drawers pull out from the front. You can sort and store pieces in the drawers and have them available when you need them without having so many spread out all over the place.

The table is sturdy, and once opened up, it is not jiggly or wobbly. You can fold it up to store it, and there is a carrying strap on one end to make it easy to transport. It comes with a plastic cover that will protect the puzzle pieces from cats and children and keep everything in place.

The negative is that the assembly instructions are not all that clear. There is very little to assemble–just the cross beams on the legs and the drawer pulls. But the instructions for screwing the cross beams left a bit to be desired, and I had one big false start before I figured out which cross beams went on which side. It would have been very helpful if the parts had been labeled with stickers.

But in spite of the instructions, I did manage to get it assembled in probably less than 20 minutes. I would recommend you use a better screwdriver than the one that comes with it. I got out my cordless drill, put on a Phillips head, and made short work of the 16 screws. That said, all the pre-drilled screw holes were where they were supposed to be, and once I got the hang of it, it went well.

This is an excellent and well-designed table, and I sincerely recommend it to anyone who is a jigsaw puzzle enthusiast.
