2 Pack Beehive Deep Brood Box 10 Frame Langstroth Deep Brood

Nice set of two deep 10 frame brood boxes.
This is a nice set of two deep Langstroth style hive boxes. This size would typically be used as your lower two brood chambers but could also be added to the top of your brood boxes for large honey frames if desired. I live in a northern climate and prefer to run ten frame boxes for their storage capacity over winter. In the last several years of beekeeping, I have tried numerous brands of prewaxed boxes. As far as the wax coating is concerned, this one measures up about equal to beecastle, while not quite as heavily waxed as my hoover boxes. There is definitely still a good layer of wax on these boxes though and the fact that there is slightly less wax actually makes this a bit easier to construct. I found this brand in particular was very easy to work with and assemble. The wood is very good quality with cleanly cut dove tailed joints and predrilled holes that line up perfectly. I did not have any issues with the wood splitting or cracking. Time will tell how they weather outdoors but out of the box, they seem like very nice boxes with quality right in line with what I would expect for this price range.
