This triple diaphragm pump is quieter than lower power single diaphragm pumps – 3 phase. I mounted the pump to 1/4 inch plywood using four 1/4-20-1.5 carriage bolts then hung the plywood to one end of my 40 gallon water tank. The pump is powered by a 100 AH lithium battery charged by a 200 watt solar panel.
My kids like to use squirt guns on canoe runs, and this is my squirt gun hooked the hose with the weight on the bottom through it over the canoe and a hose with a garden sprayer, had the best squirt gun in the county 4gal a min. A little 14 AH battery. lasted six hours the whole trip.
Good Buy
Seems to run well but it cannot be considered quiet. Nice to have the filter on the installation. Well equipped for fairly easy installation. Overall a good product at a good price!
I bought one of these for a different purpose – but I was so impressed with it – that when the pump went out on my RV, I bought another one to replace the bad one. I noticed it seems very quiet and seems to pump very well.
