Compact and lightweigh
This garden hose appears to be of average quality. The protective grips on both ends are hard plastic. I’m not sure how they will hold up since the regular hoses use flexible plastic.
The metal hose comes with 4 washers and plumbers tape, which is nice. It’s only 15 ft long so it’s lightweight and compact for smaller jobs.
The threads seem short to me, compared to a regular hose. I haven’t tried to connect it yet.
Dog proof watering.
So, my dog is an unashamed destroyer of everything. She dug up my entire sprinkler system and ate it. Since I can’t have anything nice, I’m forced to hand water my grass and hide the hoses in the garage. She’s destroyed half a dozen hoses at least.
This hose is the answer to a bad dog’s bad habits. She doesn’t touch this hose and I can hang it in a hose real like a normal person. She can’t chew it or harm it in any way. That one tough hose!
I also like that this hose doesn’t kink. No more turning on the hose and trying to figure out how to lay it just right so the water will flow. It doesn’t kink, doesn’t tie itself in knots and works perfectly. I’m very happy with this hose. The short length is nice for watering my nearby plants that the dog hasn’t eaten without tons of excess hose laying around. Five stars!
Tough little hose
I’ve always used the typical plastic garden hoses, and without fail they would crack, kink, leak, or just get completely busted up after a couple of years. It got frustrating constantly replacing them, so I decided to try something different—and I’m really glad I did.
