Completed assembly and review of the 10 pack bee frames. Moving on to this item, about which I am more than impressed. Not only does the hive box have tight fitting joints like the frames (the box joints are all dovetail), but the box itself is of quality Cedar to stand up to the weather year round. Cedar is also a natural repellent to several types of insects. In addition it has been fully coated with a good layer of beeswax. Not only does it not need painting but I would recommend against it.This hive box should last for many years.
