Convenient Electric Sprayer That Makes Yard Work Easie
We picked up this VAXMAY 2-Gallon Battery Powered Garden Sprayer to make routine lawn and garden maintenance a little easier. Having a powered sprayer instead of constantly pumping a manual one makes a noticeable difference.
How It’s Been Used:
The sprayer has been used for general yard and garden work such as applying treatments to lawn areas and plants around the property.
What Worked Well:

Based on our experience so far, this electric sprayer is a very practical tool for lawn and garden care. The powered operation, adjustable spray options, and comfortable design make it a helpful upgrade for routine outdoor tasks.
Good functionality with some quirks
This sprayer is just what I needed to treat my yard. I typically walk around with varying spray bottles, pumping out fluids until I get cramps in my hands. Between killing the weeds, feeding the lawn, treating the rose bushes, and killing ants, it’s a never ending battle. This sprayer makes the job much easier. You just have to be mindful to clean it thoroughly after each individual chemical use.
The sprayer comes with 4 different nozzles. The blue nozzle is a shower-type spray. The dual nozzle provides a double shower-type spray. The red-tipped nozzle provides a flat spray. And the black nozzle can be adjusted from a cone spray to a single jet stream.
I tested the output for the 3 different power settings. Using the blue-tipped nozzle, it sprays approximately 1/2 liter per minute at the lowest power setting, 3/4 liter per minute at the medium setting, and 1 liter per minute ate the highest setting.
However, I’m only giving this powered sprayer 4 stars instead of 5 for the following reasons:
– The instructions are almost useless. The product listing here on Amazon contains much more information than the printed instructions that come with it.
– The light in the handle has 3 bulbs which are used for both the remaining battery life as well as the power setting. The issue I have with that is that once you select a power setting, it reverts to displaying the battery strength. It would be nice to have separate indicators.
– The instructions say to be sure to use the correct USB charger (5V/1A). If that’s important, why not include the USB charger along with the USB cable?
– I would not refer to the handle as “ergonomic”. It’s basically a rectangle with a curved underside.
– The product description lists “cleaning your home or car” as one of its potential uses. Maybe it would rinse the dust off of either, but don’t expect more power than that.
– I’m not sure why there are 2 wide-mouth openings with screens. I wouldn’t try to add water or chemical while spraying, and you definitely should not be pouring fluids into the tank that contain particles or other impurities that need to be strained out.
To summarize: I’m happy with this power sprayer. Even with the questionable features, it still serves its intended purpose.
I got this to spray for insects around my house. It works like a dream. Easy to fill and the spray patterns work great. I was able to wear it like a purse and spray my entire yard without having to recharge the battery.
Wish I had bought this a long time ago.
Great sprayer, shoulder strap not so much!
Very impressed with the sprayer itself but the strap broke after one use. On one side of the strap it only sewn with about three threads. It came apart after one use. It was convenient to hang the sprayer over your shoulder but no longer able to do this.
All the stars! Where’s this thing been my whole life? I purchased this specifically to spray LAWNSTAR grass stain on my yard as it is already going dormant for the summer and I get tired of looking at a brown lawn. I tried using my handpump sprayer, quit, threw it in the trash then bought this one and it arrived the next day. The measuring scale on the clear plastic sight scale is in liters, 8 at the top. That’s 2.1 gallons. It charges quickly by USB, no batteries required. It easily assembles in a minute, no tools required. Comes with several different nozzles, the red spray tip being the one perfect for painting grass. It has 3 different speeds. The higher the speed the more consumption of what’s in the tank. The wand handle is very easier to use. I found the middle speed perfect for giving the grass a good coating. The shoulder carry strap makes it easy to walk around the yard with. To clean just rinse the tank out and run water through the nozzle for a minute. Recommended. Would buy again.
Perfect for my needs. Sprayed cleaning solution over entire pickle ball court with just one charge. Was near effortless and pattern was uniform. It replaced an old hard-to-use hand pump sprayer. Two gallon tank is good compromise between carried weight and frequent refillings. Is very well made.
A more transparent tank would be nice for seeing how much solution is left.
Turns out, this is a greatest product. Very compact for a 2 gal tank. The strap makes it very easy to carry. The battery indicator is 3 lights. I just finished my first 2 gallons and still have 2 lights for the charge.
One thing that would improve this immensely… get rid of the on/off button and put in a switch so you can have the power on and adjust spray pressure without having to spray product and then put in a trigger, or a button that is on when pressed and off when released.
Garden spraye
Holding up great. Has all the spray patterns I need. One charge gets me through the day, easy to carry around and fill and clean. All for a price less than a pump up.
Best sprayer I have found so far. Like that it has a filtering cup to reduce debris going into the unit. A charged battery holds for several sprays.
Negative note is that it does quickly use the solution so I have be aware of using different spray patterns to help reduce over using the expensive weed liquids.
