The bucket is sturdy, the lid seals well, and the convenience of the liners is unparalleled. My Traeger stays so much cleaner now, and I don’t have to worry about that gross, solidified grease build-up anymore. Highly, highly recommend!
Great Pit Boss smoker add on, with some modificatio
I was excited to receive the RESTIME upgraded smoker grease bucket for Pit Boss Platinum Loredo 1000 grill. However, it was not a simple bolt on. The hanger flange on the oil chute would not catch on the grease bucket spout without bending the flange outward. You have to be very careful not to snap the flange or the new bucket would be useless. But after some careful maneuvering I was able to get positioned just right and installed. I am a little concerned about the durability of tabs that keep the bucket tight to the lid, as they seem like they might snap off with continued use. Time will tell. Overall I’m pleased with the purchase and it seems to be very good build quality and a good value for the money. I especially like the handle on the bucket. Plus, one it was installed it reduced my warm-up time in half!
Useful upgrade for grease manageme
Using this on my Pit Boss smoker and it fits my setup well. The bucket feels sturdier than the one I was using before and hangs securely without moving around.
The lid is a nice addition since it helps keep rain, bugs and debris out between cooks. The liners make cleanup much easier and I don’t have to scrape hardened grease from the bucket as often.
It’s a simple accessory but it makes regular maintenance easier and helps keep the area around the smoker cleaner.
Overall a practical upgrade if you use your smoker regularly.
