Cooling Gel Memory Foam Mattress
It was difficult to open the packaging but you get that problem with anything vacuum sealed. But it popped right in to shape without any creases or bended spots. I didn’t notice any odor other than that “new” smell and that faded quickly. It’s really comfortable and takes pressure off your bones and joint so I’m not tossing and turning all night. My Husband likes sleeping cold so he really enjoys the cooling effect. I sleep under a heated blanket so I don’t really notice it. My Husband and myself both sleep great on it. It’s a great value and a made from quality materials with strong stitching. And to my fellow geriatrics … how flipping NUTS is it that I just received a queen size mattress in the flipping mail!!!
Supportive mattress that hits all the right spots.
I chose the 8 inch full size medium firm, gel foam mattress and I’d say it definitely fits that description. It was easy to unwrap and set up right out of the box and I had no problems with it fluffing up/ taking shape. The cooling gel seems to work because I never feel hot like my other mattress. To me this is an extremely firm and supportive mattress. It is soft to the touch and supports you in all the right places, no sagging, and no painful coils.
If you’re used to sinking into your bed (and like it) this mattress might not be for you. It’s listed as medium firm, It does have some give but not as much as others I’ve had in the past. I’d rate it a 7 out of 10 in the firmness category.
The mattress cover is made of a durable fabric but still feels breathable and is easy to unzip if you want to wash it, and the best part- no fiberglass.

Comfortable, Great price
My wooden bedframe from the 1940s measures 54×76. This mattress is the perfect length at 75″ but it’s a little too wide to fit into the frame easily. I will have to figure out how to stuff it into the frame for a good fit. Also, the original box spring/mattress was a big metal springy bouncy structure that was too heavy to make the move to the bedroom. So, I either have to get a Bunky board or some plywood to support the whole mattress. It is barely 8 inches thick and has no structure of its own. I mention that only for planning purposes. I sat on a corner and fell to the floor; this mattress needs more support than three wooden slats. Plan ahead if your bedframe doesn’t have the support this mattress needs.
