Great starter for 4yo: lightweight, fun, thrills with caps!
I bought this metal detector for my 4-year-old son to spend time outdoors together and have little adventures hunting for “treasures” in the park or on the sand. After a couple of days of use, the impressions are very positive — the device is lightweight, easy to hold with small hands, and the bright screen with clear icons immediately captured the child’s interest; he quickly mastered turning it on with one button.
We found a couple of bottle caps and a nail — for such a young child, this caused real delight, no less than if we had found a real coin. The length is adjustable, and the kit with a scoop, rake, and backpack is very convenient for carrying and digging. The plastic matches the price — not the sturdiest, but quite suitable for careful kids’ use; nothing broke.
A great way to spark a child’s interest in nature and active play, even without deep finds the process brings a lot of joy.
