Sturdy grates for spirit 2 grill
These grates fit in my spirit 2 grill. They are nice and shiny and look great in the grill. They heat up well and distribute heat evenly. They work great for searing meat. They are a bit heavy. These skewers flavorizers fit and blocked the flames from dripping grease. The old flavorizers bars were totally rusted out. It’s so nice to have clean and fresh ones. This is a good value if it brings you back into grilling. I let my old grates and flavorizers get too dirty and they just got beyond useable. It’s really nice to have a fresh, clean set.
Well made Product.
The parts were well packed preventing damage. The grates and flavor bars are both stainless steel and fit perfectly on my Weber Spirit E-330 gas grill.
First impression: The flavor bars are heavier / thicker than the OEM flavor bars. The grates are heavy duty and well made. They should be able to withstand warping that can plague thinner grates. Their wide diameter that puts char marks on food just like my old cast iron grates. So far, with the types of food I have cooked, clean up has been easy. Much easier than my old cast iron grates. As far as service life, only time will tell. I will update this review if needed.
I highly recommend this kit.
