LOVE! Favorite baby activity cente
I tried the ever popular 3-in-1 activity center that I borrowed from a friend. When it was time to get my own, I chose this new model instead. This is cheaper AND I like it better! I love how baby’s feet are on the floor, not a platform. This is closer to the ground, with the tray being 12 inches off the ground at the lowest height, and the leg holes being 9 inches off the ground at the lowest height. (I measured because these dimensions are not given in the listing.) I prefer baby’s feet to be on the stable ground instead of a platform, and if your baby has short legs, I like putting a book under their feet to close the distance.
This was SO easy to put together. It comes with instructions, but it’s so intuitive that you don’t need them. It took me 3 minutes to put together. It comes apart easily for storage. Batteries are NOT included for the piano attachment, but it just takes 3 aaa batteries. My ONLY complaint is that the piano does not snap in like it is supposed to on mine. I messed with it for a few minutes, but it wouldn’t click in. That’s such a minor issue, and I love everything else about this. Save your money and get this version of the activity center instead!
Great gift!
Anything this brand is wonderful!!
I got the Skip Hop 2-in-1 activity center and overall I’m really happy with it. It feels sturdy and well-made right out of the box-nothing flimsy or cheap, which I really appreciate because some of these can feel like they won’t last long.
The seat rotates smoothly, which my friends baby loves, and like that everything is within reach without being overwhelming. The toys are actually engaging (not just there for looks), especially the little piano- her baby keeps going back to that one. The colors are soft and not overstimulating, which is a nice change from a lot of baby gear.
Setup was super straightforward, and it doesn’t take up a crazy amount of space compared to others I’ve seen. It also wipes down easily, which matters a lot in real life.
If I had to mention anything, I do wish there were maybe one or two more interchangeable toys or a little more variety, but what’s included is still solid.
Overall, this feels like one of those baby items that’s actually worth the price because it gets used daily and holds up well. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something functional but still cute and well-designed. It’s a great gift too!
Overpriced but nice baby play stande
The Skip Hop 2-in-1 Baby Activity Center is straightforward to put together and can be adjusted in height as your baby grows. I think the main drawback in our use is that the toys just aren’t very interesting. The bobble balls on a metal wire and a few other things – all in pastel. I compare it to the Fisher Price Jumperoos we had for our kids before, or the Baby Einstein activity center — there just isn’t as much to do on this one despite that its 360 degrees around the kid. The Fisher Price Jumperoo has things hanging overhead too, and the Einstein one is packed with toys, lights, sounds, bright colors. The piano (detachable, nice feature) is the best part of this one, with some songs and a few keys to play. There are two other hit and sound response toys – a crab with a roller tummy and the clapping fish. The snack bowl has no top, so its kind of useless. Kids scoop snacks like cheerios almost immediately and dump. A top like Munchkin snack cups have would be great. The balls on a wire were of no interest. It was easy to set up and take apart.
In terms of value for your money, this was $105!! I don’t think its anywhere near worth that amount of money. It would be better priced for the value and construction at around $50. It does come in a nice sturdy box with lots of photos on it, and its a recognizable brand – it makes a great baby gift at least!!
Budget-Friendly Baby Activity Center: Highly Recommended
This is absolutely worth it! I wish this was out in the market when I had my 4th one. The price $104.99 is perfect too!
I also have the Activity Center 3 Stage Grow With Me and will be comparing it with this.
First of all I absolutely love the style, I love the colors on it, I love the height how I can adjust it, and I love how easy it is to clean the center and the toys attached to it.
This brand is absolutely amazing, and very mindful of the products that they create for the little ones. They really put a lot of thoughts into each items they create.
Activity Center 3 Stage Grow With Me : $149.99

*Beautiful Colors
*When baby learns to start to hold himself/herself, can be used as an standing Activity Center.
*When they turn into a toddler, you can purchase the chairs separately and use it as a table.
*Easy to clean
*4 different sounds on the music toy
*5 toys, 4 can be moved anywhere, piano can go on the foot are or the center + 1 suction bowl

Con:
*The con about this is, when you decide to turn it into a table, some people has complained that it leaves a gap if the grey feet supporter is a little bent and I also have the same issue. It’s really a hit or miss but still worth it.
*If baby spits, it’s can get stuck in the crease where you attach the musical piano toy. That part is very hard to clean.

*More slimmer then the other one
Having a Activity Center is a lifesaver! Sometimes when I cannot hold him, or if I put him in a playpen and just starts to cry, I’ll usually put him in here to keep him busy. Especially when I have to cook and it keeps him occupied!
They’re both amazing! However, if you’re on a budget, I highly recommend getting the 2-in-1 baby activity center. It is just as good! And to be honest, I couldn’t afford the other one because I was busy purchasing all these other baby items… So my first baby Activity Center was gifted… But now that they have a more affordable Activity Center, I would definitely purchase this instead of the other one.
