Do I need a DDR200-compatible device or a DDR200 high-speed card reader to achieve the advertised 190MB/s speed?
YES, you need to purchase a DDR200 high-speed card reader separately or use DDR200-compatible devices to reach the full 190MB/s. Otherwise, the actual speed will be limited by your hardware.
Why isn't my SIX M200 reaching the advertised speed of 190MB/s on my device?
To achieve 190MB/s, you need a DDR200-compatible high-speed card reader(sold separately) or devices compatible with DDR200. With standard readers (most laptop built-in and common USB readers),the hardware limits the Max speed to approximately 95MB/s.
Is this card great for recording 4K video without dropping frames on action cameras and drones?
Absolutely! The SIX M200 holds a strict V30 rating with 30MB/s minimum write speed. It's engineered for high-bitrate 4K UHD video on action cameras and drones, delivering smooth recording and helping avoid dropped frames or "slow card" errors.
Will this work in my Switch / Android phone/ Pad / dash cam/ 3D printer, etc?
Yes, it offers broad compatibility with any device that accepts microSD cards. The actual read/write speed will depend on your device's hardware capabilities, however you'll still enjoy a better experience compared to standard microSD cards.

Great speeds BUT you need a high-speed reader to get 190MB/s
I’ve been using the SIX M100 microSD card (A2, U3, V30) in my drone, and the performance has been excellent for 4K video recording. No lag or dropped frames at all.
I ran a speed test on my PC and got 183MB/s read speed, which is very close to the advertised 190MB/s. Great transfer speeds for moving footage.
Important reminder : To achieve these full speeds (close to 190MB/s), you must use a high-speed card reader that supports DDR200 mode or a device natively compatible with this standard. If you use a regular old reader, you’ll likely see speeds around 90-100MB/s.
Highly recommended for drones and action cameras!
Pretty good, but could use a sale
Six was not a brand I was familiar with, but overall their card is pretty good.
Unfortunately, it is priced in direct competition with top brands and doesn’t have the same proven reliability or performance to justify that.
The below screenshots were taken after a format and tested with a lexar 3.1 usb-c card reader connected to USB 4 and is capable of hundreds of MB/S with other products, so I feel the numbers are accurate. The only real oddity I noticed in testing was that after a few dozen GB, the speed fell off compared to other brands. It is unclear why this was the case, but it was repeatable.
This card tested out to be a real 128GB and while it never matched the stated speeds, it was very fast and functional and could certainly record 4k video quality. There was some odd behavior with long writes that do not seem to be thermal-related, but that isn’t a deal breaker.
There just is no compelling reason to buy this brand over industry leaders while they are the same price. Hopefully, they can provide this a deep discount and make it a value-based alternative. At that point, it would be a 5-star product.
A reliable V30 card that maxes out standard card readers, making it a great choice for 4K video.
SIX M200 128GB Micro SD Card (A2, U3, V30)
A reliable V30 card that maxes out standard card readers, making it a great choice for 4K video.
1. Capacity and First Impressions
I tested the 128GB version of the SIX M200 on my laptop bench setup. Windows reported a healthy 117GB of usable capacity, which is exactly what I expect to see for a legitimate 128GB card. It comes with the standard SD adapter and feels like any other high-quality card on the market.
2. Speed and Bench Testing
The marketing on the box claims “up to 190 MB/s,” but in my real-world testing using CrystalDiskMark, I topped out at 92 MB/s Read and 89.6 MB/s Write. It’s important to note that the 92 MB/s read is likely the limit of my laptop’s card reader—it essentially “maxed out” my hardware.
The real surprise was the 89.6 MB/s Write speed. This is nearly triple the minimum required for the V30 and U3 ratings. This card is more than fast enough for flawless 4K UHD recording in drones, action cameras, or dashcams without any dropped frames or lag.
3. App Performance (A2 Rating)
For those using this in a smartphone or gaming console, the random access speeds (A2 rating) clocked in at roughly 11 MB/s Read and 5.6 MB/s Write. While these aren’t the highest numbers I’ve seen, they are perfectly adequate for loading apps and running games smoothly without noticeable stuttering.
4. Final Thoughts
Unless you have a specialized high-speed DDR200 card reader, you won’t see that 190 MB/s “marketing” number, but you will see a very fast and stable write speed. For the price, this is a solid “bench-tested” performer that I’d trust for 4K video recording or expanded storage in a mobile device.
Here is the comprehensive 5/5, 6-category review for the SIX M200 128GB Micro SD Card, optimized for high-performance users.
Headline: Elite speed for 4K drone footage—beats the big name brands!

Review:
I’ve been testing this SIX M200 card in my DJI drone and GoPro for the last week, and it is a high-fidelity workhorse. If you’re tired of “Slow Card” errors during 4K recording, this is your fix.
Performance & Speed: This card is blazing fast. I’m consistently getting read speeds close to the advertised 190MB/s, which makes offloading 50GB of footage to my PC a breeze. More importantly, the V30 rating is solid—zero dropped frames even at high-bitrate 4K UHD settings.
Compatibility: It’s been a “Handshake Protocol” success across all my devices. It worked instantly in my Nintendo Switch (vastly improving game load times), my Android tablet, and my dash cam without needing a reformat.
App Performance (A2 Rating): Using this in my phone was a noticeable upgrade. Apps launch with zero lag, and multitasking feels significantly smoother compared to my old A1-rated card. It handles high-frequency data read/writes like a pro.
Durability & Build: The physical quality is top-tier. I’ve used it in freezing mountain temperatures and humid coastal runs; it’s waterproof and temperature-resistant as advertised. It feels rugged enough to survive constant swapping between gear.
Capacity Accuracy: After the system overhead, the available storage is exactly what you’d expect for a 128GB card. No “hallucinated” storage space here—it holds exactly the amount of high-res data promised.
Value for Money: At $37.99 (even better with the coupon!), the price-to-performance ratio is unbeatable. You’re getting professional-grade A2/U3 specs for a fraction of what you’d pay for a “Pro” branded card.
Verdict: A Tier-1 storage solution for content creators and gamers alike. It’s unoptimized for boredom and built for high-bitrate adventure.
