Great seller, nice individual. Waited a few weeks to receive the speaker, but well worth it. Tweeter is bright and detailed, but it is not harsh. Bass is really good, but it technically does not get really low, which is not obvious.
These S.M.S.L Tabebuia bookshelf speakers are impressively put together. The cabinets feel dense, the finish is flawless, and nothing about them reads “budget.” They look like they belong in a much pricier setup.
Sound-wise, they perform exactly how you’d expect from compact passive speakers with a 4.5″ woofer and 1″ dome tweeter. They’re not going to blow you away, but they’re not trying to. They are perfectly serviceable for TV, movies, and casual listening. Paired with a decent amp, they slot right into a home theater system without calling attention to themselves.
If you want reference-grade detail or roomfilling low end, look elsewhere. If you want wellbuilt, attractive speakers that deliver respectable performance for their size, these work

Melhores do que esperava, apesar de ter assistido, antes da compra, a dois reviews bem positivos. Mdios e agudos realmente muito bons. Bom palco sonoro. Mdios-graves bem firmes; acrescentando um subwoofer razovel obtive um resultado satisfatrio na minha sala de estar ouvindo msica. Ainda no experimentei assistir filme, mas estou otimista.
Finalmente assisti a filmes com elas e se saram tambm muito satisfatrias. Boa compra, apesar de ter pagado mais caro do que o preo cobrado atualmente.

Punching way above the price point, I’m using a WiiM Amp Pro with these. Detail is phenomenal, the Kef Q1 Meta goes on sale for $400 on sale and that’s what I wanted, I demoed them I loved them, I saw these in white for a little more than have the price and really liked the aesthetic it a little funky. I know Amazon has a pretty generous return policy and paired them with a Klipsch r12 SWi. Has to be the best bang for the buck going right now. Considering buying a second set for my desk. At this price you’re getting a whole lot of speaker in a small package
SMSL speakers
I just received these and early listening has me liking them a lot. They offer clarity and very good bass for their size. I got them in white and they look great. One thing that I wasn’t sure about was whether they would come with a grille, and they do, …a magnetic one which attaches firmly. I want grilles on my speakers as I have had woofers suffer from UV damage in the past. Just a few things to note, as i’ve not seen this confirmed elsewhere, the woofers are Wavecor WF118WA07…I see this unit for sale currently through Parts Express, @ $63.00 (American), but I’m in Canada so I wouldn’t be able to get them, except by paying through the nose – i.e. exchange, etc. The tweeter is Wavecor TW022WA04, available through Solen.ca, for $82 and change, but there would be tax and shipping on that as well. So, the drivers alone would retail for approx. $350, and that’s a conservative number. (I mention the driver cost as I’ve more than dabbled in DIY in the past – albeit with limited success!) The port is ‘elbowed’ inside, so I’m thinking it’s likely over 8 inches in length in total. The box is VERY solid (knock tested!). It looks like 3/4 inch material thickness, at least at the baffle, and the inside of the unit is spray painted. The crossover is small in size and has an air core inductor, an iron core inductor and a capacitor…I got these speakers for $297 plus 13 percent tax – with free shipping with Amazon Prime. I see they originally retailed for 500 Euros/American dollars. I’m very pleased with my purchase and feel they are currently a bargain. In fact, they may arguably have been a bargain at their original price.
