Upgrade To My Garden Irrigatio
This is a quality hose reel system that is heavy and well made. My home is sided with brick. I didn’t want to make a mistake drilling into brick and mortar hanging this reel, so I hired a handyman to do the job. The mount is heavy weight aluminum. While he said the screws and anchors provided would have worked, he opted to go with different brick and mortar anchors since the reel is heavy and would be under tremendous force when pulling out 100 feet of hose. My back yard is about 1/4 acre, and this hose reaches every corner. This reel is so easy to use… to pull out the hose, to stop it at different lengths, and to get it to automatically wind the hose back in so smoothly. No more bending over to hand crank my old reel. Unlike my old set up, there is no leaking anywhere around this reel. The hose and sprayer are good quality. The sprayer gives me all the options I need for my garden. I like that my hose is now off of the ground, and that I can just lift the whole reel off of the wall mount when I want to store the hose away for winter (it could be left out in this reel if I wanted). This reel is a definite upgrade to my garden and I will get a lot of use out of it.
