Straightforward setup, easy to wire.
The family who owned my house before me didn’t install a range hood fan when they remodeled their kitchen. I don’t know why as there was power to the site where it should go and it was backing on an exterior wall. In any case, installing this one was relatively painless.
It took a bit of planning, but once installed it works great! The fan is more than capable of keeping up with the range below and it isn’t too loud. It is 30″ wide which matches the vast majority of appliances as this is fairly standard. The quality is far better than the price would suggest making this a good value.
Aesthetically this range hood fan would fit nicely into almost any modern kitchen. Stainless in the mid 2020s is now timeless so I think we’ll be keeping this in operation until our eventual remodel.

Definitely improved the amount of particles in the air from cooking coating the walls and cabinets.
My kitchen needed less “stir fry fog” and more breathing room, so this 30 inch AURAKICH wall mount hood went up and immediately got to work. The stainless steel body looks clean and modern, and the 450 CFM airflow is strong enough to noticeably pull steam and cooking smells away during normal daily cooking. The TRUE COLOR 5500K LEDs are bright and crisp, they light the cooktop well without making food look like it’s under a nightclub spotlight. The baffle filters feel sturdy and more professional than flimsy mesh screens.
Installation is pretty typical for a wall mount hood, but it’s easier with two people because aligning and lifting stainless steel is not a solo hobby. It’s convertible for ducted or ductless use, and it includes charcoal filters, which is nice if you can’t vent outside. Ductless mode helps with odors, but it won’t remove heat and moisture as well as ducted venting, physics still gets a vote. Overall it looks good, pulls air well, and the lighting is a big upgrade, with the main downsides being install effort and the reality that higher fan speeds can get noisy.

First of all – this Aurakich Range Hood is the perfect addition to any kitchen decor. It LOOKS soooo nice. It is made of stainless steel and has a hood that extends up to cover the outdoor hose access. Absolutely fantastic.
On the flip side, if you do not have an ourdoor hose, you can vent it to the indoors with included filters. To me, this is one of the best benefits. The indoor filters help maintain air quality and keep things fresh.
One thing that could make things challenging is the wall mounting as it requires you to get into structure, or use wall anchors which I would never prefer over attaching to structure. While it is not too heavy, it certainly is not a lightweight piece of equipment.
The lights are at the rear, instead of the front as per typical range hoods. An odd, but cool looking design choice that actually works well at lighting up the range below while you are cooking! The lights are LED and are bright and should last a long time.
They have reusable aluminum filters that seem to be very high quality and also give an industrial kitchen appearance. Very nice in a modern kitchen.
The motor is quiet enough and not like your typical motor, but also didn’t seem to suck up quite as much, though it has a much broader space than an old school range hood.
Overall, it seems very good quality and looks nice. I would highly recommend it as it includes everything you need to replace your old range hood.
For the price, it beats your hardware store in value all day long – at a fraction of most stainless steel range hood cost it is worth every penny.
Good airflow vent hood
We installed this in our kitchen in our new (self) build and I’m honestly really pleased with it. The stainless finish looks great and fits the space nicely.
Even with our high ceilings the 450 CFM model pulls a lot of air. When cooking something smoky it clears the air quickly instead of letting it hang around the kitchen.
The baffle filters feel substantial and are easy to remove for cleaning. The lights are also really nice. The color temperature is a clean white that makes the cooktop easy to see without looking too harsh or sterile.
I feel like installation wasn’t bad either if you’re comfortable with basic DIY projects, but to be fair my husband built the house so he’s not exactly a beginner. Everything lined up the way it should and we definitely ducted it outside but we had the option for ductless too.
For the price I feel like this is a great addition to the kitchen! It looks nice and works very well.
