Product description

Solid, heavy duty brass with great fittings and washers
Really well made with great threads, really easy to attach it to the hoses and the tap. I bought a short length of hose and ran it from one splitter to my regular hose and then I attached a drip hose system to the other splitter end. Now I can wash the truck or the boat with the regular hose and still use the drip irrigation system in the garden. It so easy to flip both hoses open or use the drip system or the hose, the little valves are right on the front of the splitter. I have fingernails that dont fit well so I use a small screwdriver to pop the valve open as I need them.
Its so much better than connecting and disconnecting hose all the time, it much easier on the hose tap and rubber gaskets, you hook it up once and then hardly touch it again. I think I’m going to add a timer to the drip-irrigation system and let it run itself, there is plenty of space between the hoses that I shouldn’t have any issues in getting it all to fit. love this!
Solid brass quality and built to last!
I have used a few RAINPOINT products now, and this heavy-duty brass hose splitter is another fantastic addition to the lineup.
Here is a quick breakdown of why this is a great upgrade for your yard:
Premium Build Quality
The moment you pick this splitter up, you can immediately feel the quality. Unlike so many cheap splitters on the market that are full of brittle plastic, this one is made of solid, heavy-duty metal. Because of that brass construction, it has real weight to it, giving me full confidence that it will have a good, long life out in the garden without cracking, snapping, or leaking.
Ready to Install
I also really appreciate that it comes with all the necessary hardware right out of the box. It includes everything you need to get it attached to your spigot and get your hoses running immediately, ensuring a perfect seal without having to go hunting through your toolbox for spare washers.
The Verdict
If you are tired of replacing flimsy plastic hose splitters every single season, this solid metal upgrade is exactly what you need. Highly recommended!
Heavy Duty 4 Way Hose Splitter That Solves Multiple Garden Needs.
I had been searching for quite a while for a water hose diverter that could reliably handle three or four different connections at once, and this 4 way splitter finally solved that problem perfectly; I only have a single outdoor faucet in my yard, and now I can run my irrigation system, a hose for cleaning the patio, and still have two additional outlets available for washing the car or any other task; the build quality immediately stands out, as it feels solid, heavy, and durable, a big upgrade from the plastic ones that tend to crack or fail quickly; each valve is easy to operate with large, smooth turning controls that make opening and closing individual lines simple and precise; the overall unit is on the larger side, but that actually makes it easier to handle and manage; in my personal experience, it has been a reliable and high quality addition to my garden setup, and based on consistent performance from this brand, I would definitely recommend it.
Rainpoint quality (and price point)
I have several watering needs that will soon be getting heavy use once the growing season kicks off in earnest, and I was looking for a way to not have to keep switching hoses out all the time. So when this 4 outlet garden splitter became available through the vine program, I decided to give it a try.
I have received several items made by rainpoint through the vine program previously, and always found them to be of good quality and durability. this splitter is no exception.
These splitter has a very satisfying weight to it. it seems to be a solid hunk of zinc alloy with some decorative plastic put on it , perhaps to assist with handling during installation.
The inlet is brass and has a plastic grip ring around it to also assist with installation. i was disappointed to see that none of the outlets were actually brass, but these zinc allow is not a bad second choice.
The instruction booklet had a small glitch in that two of the pages were actually folded , but never cut, requiring me to use a steak knife like a letter opener to tear the paper to be able to read the document. also included is a small role of Teflon tape and 4 rubber hose washers.
At the price point this is currently selling for (~$38), I would have expected all brass hardware (i lets AND outlets), if not one hundred percent brass construction. the price, as well as the lack of brass outlets, cost one star in my review. it is still an extremely well made piece of garden equipment that I hope will last for many years to come.
Excellent Quality; Confusing Controls!
I wanted to share my feedback on the RAINPOINT 4-Way Garden Hose Splitter.
Out of the box, the quality is impressive. The body is solid metal with a brass inlet, and the plastic-edged exterior provides excellent grip for tightening. Installation was straightforward and leak-free, aided by the large diameter of the inlet.
The full-port water inlet allows for maximum flow volume, and the four individual shutoff valves operate smoothly. While the on/off directions for the handles are somewhat confusing—a minor engineering oversight—the overall build quality is excellent.
The handles are large, easy to grip, and do not require much force to turn. Furthermore, the outlets are spaced well enough that hoses can be added or removed without interference. While the unit features four openings for securing the valve, please note that no mounting bracket is included. The package does include extra washers and teflon tape, though the tape is unnecessary for these types of washer-based connections.
Despite the minor inconvenience regarding the handle positions, this is a high-quality, 5-star product offered at a great price.
Good quality garden hose manifold, opening in ball valve harrow
The description emphasizes a 0.83″ inside diameter, however the hole through each ball valve is only about a quarter inch, so a restricted flow through the ball valve. I don’t understand why a 0.83″ inside diameter is an advantage if the valve hole only has a quarter inch opening. It is hard to find fill flow hose valves, so my hopes for this one based on the 0.83″ ID boast were dashed.
Still, although you won’t get full flow, the hose manifold is well made, mostly metals the valve levers mercifully are longer than some other similar products, so much easier to turn on and off without sore thumbs. The threads on the male ends are clean and well machined. The female end has threaded brass with a surrounding plastic sheath with four fins that assist in tightening the unit to the supply faucet. The ball valves are metal, not plastic, so more durable than some similar products. The female end does not include a filter screen, which is essential for preventing debris from clogging sprinkler orifices and spaker hose emitters. There are some metal tabs with holes, I’m not clear about the function of those.
Extra washers are included. There is a roll of Teflon tape, which is puzzling since that is not generally needed when attaching garden hoses.
The bright green colors on the valve handles are easy so see and attractive. The whole unit is substantial, weighing about 1.33 pounds.
Ty his is a useful, well made four port hose manifold with easy to turn valves. The main disappointments are the small openings in the ball valves and the lack of a screen filter washer.
Good quality
I’ve used a few hose splitters over the years, and many of them end up feeling flimsy or start leaking after a season. This one feels noticeably more solid right out of the box. The body is mostly metal and has a bit of weight to it, which gives it a sturdy feel compared to the lightweight plastic versions. Because of that, it comes across as something that should hold up better over time.
Installation was straightforward. It threaded onto the faucet without any issues, and the included washers and tape are a nice touch. Once tightened, I didn’t notice any leaks at the main connection or at either outlet when testing it with two hoses attached.
The valves operate independently, which is exactly what you want from a splitter. The handles are fairly large and easy to grip, and they turn smoothly without requiring much force. That makes it easy to adjust or shut off one side while leaving the other running. I also like that the outlets are spaced far enough apart that two hoses can stay connected without getting in each other’s way.
One thing to keep in mind is that, like most splitters, it adds some length to the faucet, so if your spigot is close to a wall you may need to allow a bit of clearance.
This set comes with two splitters, which is practical since it lets you use one indoors or in another part of the yard. Overall, the build quality seems good so far, and the heavier metal construction makes it feel more durable than many of the basic plastic options. It does exactly what a hose splitter should do—lets you run two hoses at the same time without constantly swapping them.
Stop Swapping Hoses! Built to Last, Heavy Duty!!
This RAIPOINT 2-Way Y Splitterset is a heavy-duty solution for anyone needing to manage multiple hoses from one water source. These connectors provide a reliable way to expand your outdoor watering system without permanent plumbing changes. They are designed to last much longer than standard plastic alternatives.
The product constructionemploys a robust zinc alloy body with a protective rubberized coating for maximum durability. Its designincludes a wide “Y” shape that provides enough space to fittwo water timers side-by-side without crowding. The materialquality is premium, utilizing lead-free metals and stainless steelball valves to ensure long-term reliabilityand safety. Each unit has a substantial weight, reflecting its high qualityand excellent value for money. With a leak-proofseal supported by included silicone washers and Teflon tape, the functionalityremains high even under strong water pressure. The standard 3/4″ GHT sizingensures a secure attachment to any typical outdoor spigot, making ease of installa standout feature. Large, rubberized levers offer smooth operabilityand ease of use, even when your hands are wet. This versatilitymakes it a practicalchoice for gardening, washing cars, or sharing a water supply with a neighbour.
Since it is currently freezing winter, I decided to field test the splitter’s leak-proofintegrity and operabilityinside my basement utility sink. I attached the connector to the threaded laundry faucet and ran a high-pressure test into two separate buckets. The stainless steelball valves moved with a smooth, premium feel, and the rubberized grip made it very easy to tighten the connection by hand without any drips on the floor.
Pros;
+ Solid metal constructionprovides a “buy it for life” feel and great durability.
+ Wide-set designeasily accommodates two large automatedtimersat once.
+ Ergonomic leversare easy to turn for those with limited hand strength or wet hands.
+ Comprehensive kitincludes extra gaskets and tape to ensure a leak-freesetup.
+ Lead-free materialmakes it safer for filling pet bowls or small backyard pools.
+ Integrated mounting holesallow you to screw the splitter to a post for extra stability.
+ Non-slip coatingprotects the metal from drops and makes it comfortable to handle.
Cons;
– Premium costis higher than standard plastic models, though the value for moneyis high.
– Internal diameteris slightly narrow (1/4″), which may marginally reduce flow for high-volume tools like pressure washers.
– Freeze sensitivemetal casing can crack if water is left inside during a hard frost.
– Lever clearancecan be tight against the faucet body if your spigot is recessed into the wall.
This2-Way Y Splitteris a robust, lead-freeupgrade that solves the headache of limited outdoor water access. It is a practicaland versatileinvestment for anyone looking for a heavy-dutyconnector that won’t crack under pressure. I highly recommend!
Heavy-Duty Metal Quality You Can Feel
Now that I’m retired, I plan to spend more time in the garden. I’ve spent way too much money over the years on those cheap plastic hose splitters that crack after one season, and I wanted something solid that wouldn’t leak or break. I tested this one out on my indoor garage hose when it arrived, and even though it’s still winter, I can already tell this is going to be a huge help once the weather warms up. It’s nice to have something that feels like a real tool instead of a toy.
PROS:
– I’m really impressed with how smoothly the little levers turn; they aren’t stiff at all, which makes it much easier on my hands when I’m switching the water on and off.
– The metal threads screw on perfectly and keep everything bone-dry, so I don’t have to deal with the leaking or stripping you always get with the plastic versions.
– You can feel the quality the second you pick it up because it’s got a solid, heavy-duty metal body that won’t just snap if you give the hose a tug.
– The bright green accents are a smart addition because they make the splitter easy to spot in a dark garage or a cluttered shed where my other tools usually seem to disappear, and the colour is nice because it will blend right in with the rest of the garden.
CONS:
– It’s a bit bulkier than the standard plastic ones, so if your faucet is tucked into a tight corner or a small wall box, it might be a bit of a squeeze to get it on.
RATING: 5/5
If you’re fed up with buying new connectors every spring, this is a great buy. It does the job without leaking and feels much tougher than the usual plastic stuff. It’s well worth the money since it’s built to last, and I’d definitely suggest picking one up for your garage or yard.
