Accurate, adorable and only a touch AI
You’re not dumb, and neither am I (I hope) – and that being said, I’m sure you noticed the sheer amount of generative imagery used in this listing, that gave me significant pause and I would hope that would become standard practice under generative suspicions.
That being said, once the product arrived and I was able to unbox it from its frankly strangely unmarked box, I could confirm that it is indeed legitimately a scale! One that has a degree of accuracy up to 0.1g, which is perfect for coffee, tea or any other low-weight consumables you might find in nature.
I can’t comment on the actual wood as I am far from a carpenter nor would I want to say something that I don’t know anything about, but the finish is clean and the scale itself seems highly accurate with a single touch button to manage all of the functions you’d expect (on/off, tare).
If you’re looking for a 0.1g accurate scale with a bit more hominess than some of the black and silver offerings, this is a great choice.

Good but Misleading Product Title
This compact walnutwood scale is a pleasant surprise. It has a clean, minimalist look, feels solid in the hand, and is sized just right for smallbatch tasks like weighing out coffee beans. For reference, I use about 10 grams of whole beans for a single refillable KCup, and the scale handles that measurement accurately and consistently.
Functionally, it performs exactly as expected: quick to power on, easy to tare, and responsive to small weight changes. The wood finish gives it a warmer, more premium feel than the typical plastic pocket scales. Comes with Charging Cord.
One note for future buyers: the instruction booklet inside the box is labeled “Tea Scale,” which doesn’t match the product listing. The scale itself works perfectly for coffee, but the mismatched booklet may cause a moment of confusion.
Overall, it’s a wellmade, attractive little scale that does its job reliably. The labeling issue is minor, but worth mentioning for clarity.
Good for espresso and not much else
This Premium Walnut Coffee Bean Scale looks beautiful and feels well made, especially with the handcrafted walnut finish. The 0.1g precision and USB-C charging are nice features, and it’s very easy to use for weighing out beans before grinding. Scales like this are designed to measure very small increments for precise coffee dosing, which is helpful for espresso brewing. That said, it’s extremely small and really only practical for measuring out single-serving beans. At the $49.99 price point, it feels a bit pricey for what it does since it isn’t large enough for many other kitchen uses. Its a nice specialty tool for coffee enthusiasts, but the size and price make it better suited for someone who specifically wants a dedicated single dose coffee scale.
Scale Maste
I have reviewed a number of scales here on Amazon, and I’ve yet to come across a perfect one (including this one), but this one has something incredibly handy that none I’ve tried before has had. I’m sure it isn’t hard to figure out what that is… a built in bowl (via the fact it’s concave). Every other scale I’ve tried I had to grab my own bowl, put it on the scale, zero the scale back out, and then weigh. Flat scales make weighing anything granular or round next to impossible without a bowl, so it’s a nice feature. Cold pour over coffee’s and espresso’s are much simpler this way.
As a note, it is ACTUAL wood, so I wouldn’t personally use it for weighing liquids or anything that could impact wood. Matching tiny wooden spoon was also a nice touch.
Where it’s lacking vs others is in the absence of various modes, however, seeing as this was designed for one specific purpose, I’m not going to hold that against it.
The wood is solid and the unit feels like good quality, and unlike most other scales, this one is attractive enough to leave out as part of my “coffee area”.
I posted a picture with a slightly above average size set of kitchen scissors to give you an idea for scale.
Overall, very happy with this, decent value, and will continue to use it a few times a week.
Cute coffee bean scale, but smaller than expected
This looks exactly like the pictures and is really cute, especially with the coffee bean shape. It’s definitely a novelty design, but it still works well as a scale. The weighing function seems accurate and easy to use.
One thing to note is that it’s smaller than I expected, so if you’re measuring out a larger amount of beans they may not all fit in the scoop at once. I’d recommend checking the size before ordering if you plan to measure bigger portions.
I do like that it comes with a small spoon and that the scale is rechargeable rather than using batteries, and it includes the charging cable. Overall it works well and looks nice enough to leave out on the counter, though I’m not sure the novelty shape alone justifies the ~$50 price point.
