This is not solar powered, its a plug in, just pointing that out! Great product!
This is a super little pond filter, with an added bonus of a fountain on top! It does 660 gallons per hour so that quite a lot. Its pretty quiet, meaning the pump part, but then you have the cute little waterfall top that gives off a nice sound. There are a few different water fountain pattern nozzles too so you can choose what you like the look to be. Also this one has lights that show underneath and shoot out. You control that with the remote control which is super to have! Its a very relaxing little fountain unit and the fact it has the filtration basket attached will keep more stuff out from clogging the fountain part. I think from looking at the caught stuff, I will be spraying off the filter once a week or so. Great product. A little expensive but has all the bells and whistles other little fountains don’t have like the lights and filter basket. A+
Steps up my pond
I’ve been maintaining a backyard pond for a few years now, and keeping the water clear has always been a bit of a challenge with algae and debris buildup. I decided to try this pond filter with fountain kits, featuring a 660GPH pump, built-in RGB LED lights, and a remote controller, hoping it would simplify things. After using it for a couple of months, I’m genuinely impressed with how well it performs.
Installation was straightforward—I appreciated the included fountain kits that let me choose different spray patterns right out of the box. The pump is powerful enough to circulate water effectively in my medium-sized pond, and the filtration system does a solid job trapping particles without clogging up too quickly. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in water clarity; what used to be murky now stays crystal clear with minimal effort on my part. The three-stage filtration—mechanical, biological, and UV—seems to tackle everything from leaves to beneficial bacteria balance.
The RGB LED lights are a fun addition, especially in the evenings. With the remote, I can easily switch colors or set them to cycle, adding a nice ambiance without needing extra wiring. It’s subtle but elevates the whole pond experience.
Powerful Pond Filter with Nice Lighting Features
This pond filter kit has been a great addition to my outdoor pond setup. The all-in-one design makes everything simple since the pump, filtration system, UV clarifier, and LED lights are all built into one unit. The setup was straightforward, and everything needed was included in the kit.
The pump runs strongly and keeps the water circulating well. The filtration system does a good job helping the pond water stay clearer, and the built-in UV clarifier definitely helps reduce the green, cloudy look that sometimes happens in outdoor ponds. After running it for a while, the water looked noticeably cleaner.
The RGB LED lights are a really nice feature, especially at night. The remote control makes it easy to change colors, adjust brightness, and switch between different lighting modes. It adds a relaxing atmosphere to the pond in the evening and makes the water feature stand out more in the yard.
The fountain attachments are also a nice touch. The different spray patterns allow some variety, and the adjustable pipe helps fit different pond depths. Everything feels well-designed and convenient to maintain.
Overall, this is a solid pond filter and pump system that combines filtration, water movement, and lighting in one compact unit. It runs quietly, performs well, and adds both function and visual appeal to the pond.
Quiet and Efficie
I am so pleased at how quiet the pump is. I have a small pond with a fountain/ pond above—- It is working great!
The set up is easy to set up and place in pond– the only issue I really had was the top spray– my pond is about 3 feet deep– by about 4 feet– so it is too deep to run the over head sprayer feature– however– I was able to attach my hose and wind it up to my upper pond– that overflows into the larger one– and that is working great.
I am super excited about the UV Clarifier to help control the cloudy water.
Overall a great pump and is circulating my water wonderfully!
Impressive pump
I am impressed by this pond filter pump. I just got it set up for the season, will need to start getting plants for my setup.
The pond arrives mostly assembled. You do need to open the box to take the media out of the plastic and I recommend rinsing everything before using it as it’s dusty (from the ceramic media).
Then you just decide on what type of flow design you want and connect the appropriate head. Everything was super simple thanks to the colorful, descriptive instructions.
This pump puts out a good amount of flow. I have a smaller 70-gallon pond, and this pump is almost too strong for it. I have to run the output on low to keep the water in the basin/pond tub.
This Poposoap Pond Filter requires 2 power outlets, one to power the pump with the lights, and the other to power the UV clarifier. I’d only recommend plugging in the UV if your water starts turning green. If you plug it in while the pump is trying to establish beneficial bacteria in the media, you’ll hamper the growth of that good bacteria that helps process fish waste.
The light settings are nice. I wish there were a way to make the lights sit higher up on the water stem. I may try cutting a piece of foam from a pool noodle to create a holder for the lights to elevate it more.
Sound-wise, I don’t really hear the pump as much as I do the running water. And as far as UV goes, I’ve luckily not had to try that out as my water is still clear from the initial set-up. Overall, I’m quite happy with everything offered on this pump for the price point. I do wish the power cords were a little longer. The 16 ft cord is just a little short, and I need to use an extension cord to make this work.
