Fantastic product - Otterbox #1
Otterbox is my goto item for my phones – I have had additional cases just in case but Otterbox is my number 1 for sure. Not the cheapest and you certainly get what you pay for. Love the product and works fantastic with my new Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
I bought 4 different cases and I felt that this probably provide the best protection. But do keep in mind that it is the largest fit among them.
The problem I’ve is while installing the front portion, my screen protector would get slightly peel off resulting in bubbles between screen…. I was able to resolved this with the plastic tool provided from screen protector to scrab them off.
So please keep that in mind if you intend to use screen protector with this case.
New desig
Solid case. Not sure if I like the smooth texture on the back. At least it won’t get all sticky as older cases do when rubber starts to break down. Hopefully it won’t yellow with age. It is a better design than the last defend case I had for the S22. Would recommend
I knowingly purchased the XT without the 3rd layer of shock absorbing protection that the regular Defender has BUT I did find this one to be grippier than the other – which was a shock to me. I do appreciate that I can see the color of my (white) phone through the clear case, making it not as useless as usual for purchasing a phone with any color but black – so when left upside down my white phone is easy to find. Trusting in the name that this case protects my phone as all my other Defenders have because I’m a clutz and drop my phone regularly! I also changed out my phone mount in my car to accommodate the magnet ring and the one I got works REALLY well to hold my phone.
I just started using this new phone case, and my first impression is genuinely positive. Right out of the package, it feels wellmade, sturdy enough to inspire confidence but still slim enough to keep the phone comfortable to hold. The texture has a nice grip to it on the sides, which makes the phone feel secure in my hand without being sticky or rubbery.
The fit is spoton. All the cutouts for the camera, speakers, and charging port line up perfectly, and the buttons respond smoothly without feeling stiff. It snaps onto the phone with a clean, snug fit that doesn’t shift or creak.
One thing I really appreciate is how well it works with my screen protector. Some cases tend to lift or push at the edges, but this one doesn’t cause any shifting or bubbling at all. Everything stays perfectly aligned, which makes the whole setup feel even more secure. I did struggle to kinda push in the back camera protector but I was able to push the camera cover past the case frame.
Protection-wise, I haven’t dropped my phone yet to know but the raised edges around the screen and camera add a reassuring layer of safety, especially when placing the phone facedown.
Aesthetically, it looks great. The design is simple but stylish, and it complements the phone instead of hiding it. It feels like a good balance between practicality and a clean, modern look.
If I had to point out one thing, it would be the price — it’s a little on the higher side. But honestly, with a brandnew phone, I’d rather pay a bit more than risk something happening to it. The peace of mind alone makes it worth it.

Reliable feeling case from a familiar brand we hate paying for but love using.

Better magnets than my old phones magsafe case! Even with a cheap wireless charger the grip is sufficient to hold the weight of my case and phone. Not that this is generally recommended.
The images can make the case appear black as it is on a black phone but the back wall of the case is actually clear plastic. This allows those who got a phone in a non-standard color to see it.
The camera cutout is raised to help protect the large lenses of the camera, and the rubber outer ring also helps raise the device to keep it flat when resting on the table.
Regrettably, the charging port cover is not hinged as I had hoped but connected to the rubber outer ring. Inspite of this, it folds out of the way reasonably well and even with the bulkiness of the case my 90 charging cable was still able to fully plug in without putting pressure on the cable or port. Though unplugging it was a bit of a challenge, but manageable if I attach a pull tab or use a straight cable.
Overall very happy with the case. A bit bulkier than I had planned expected, but that’s not unexpected of otterbox cases, I just haven’t used one for over a year and believe that is just my perception.
