Compact 4-Channel Amplifier with Adjustable Crossover!! This Class D amplifier supports 4-channel output with bridgeable capability. The adjustable crossover allows tuning for mids, highs, or subwoofer configurations.
The compact aluminum chassis assists with heat dissipation. Both RCA and high-level inputs provide installation flexibility. A solid power upgrade for aftermarket audio systems!!
Surprisingly Capable Budget Amp I tested this 1200W 4channel Class D car amplifier on a workbench setup using AudioControl speakers and a Kicker sub (running on its own separate amp). In that environment, it performed better than I expected for the price. Every speaker I connected had plenty of volume and headroom, and the amp stayed stable throughout testing. I don’t have the equipment to verify whether it actually delivers its advertised wattage, but subjectively it had no trouble driving anything I threw at it without adding distortion.
The compact aluminum chassis is a nice touch — it feels sturdier than many amps in this price bracket, and the layout of the controls is straightforward. The adjustable crossover works as expected, and the fact that it’s bridgeable gives you some flexibility depending on your setup. Overall, the build feels better than its price point.
That said, this is very much a budget amplifier, and it comes with the usual caveats. Realistically, it’s unlikely to hit the full rated power numbers, and longterm support or warranty help is probably going to be minimal. If you go in expecting “true 1200W performance,” you may be disappointed. But if you treat the ratings as optimistic marketing and judge it by what it *actually* delivers, it’s a solid little amp for the money.
Overall, it’s a capable, inexpensive option that seems to perform well in realworld use — just keep your expectations grounded and I think you’ll probably be happy with it.
4-channel car amp with 1200W Compatible with factory head units, this Class D 4-channel amplifier delivers 1200W total RMS and can run 200W or 300W. I like the adjustable HPF, LPF, and Full modes with gain control for tuning speakers or a sub. The aluminum build with thermal, overload, and short circuit protection seems dependable. I appreciate the compact footprint for surface mounting.
No Name Chinese Brand Seems of Good Quality Very respectable amp with good power from a no name brand.
A few notes:
Despite the listing saying there is 24-hour technical support, good luck finding anything even close to a website or a phone number related to this very brand new, Chinese brand.
The clip light seemed to work when setting my gains but I tried to test it with speakers hooked up to the amp and it went off intermittently, not when expected.
However when setting my gains using a multimeter It seemed to go off right after the exact volt it should have. I’m not sure why the discrepancy. I mean I do understand ohms come into play but I still try to see if the clip light would go off with a very high voltage when speakers were attached and it didn’t seem to with any consistency.
All that being said, I’m very into car audio and I’m not the type of person that sticks with one brand, though I do usually like to use reputable brands because I believe RMS output is important and I like using brands that are known for putting real numbers. However, given the fact I was on a budget but still wanted a good amount of power for my mids and highs, I ended up choosing this brand and I can honestly say I don’t regret doing so. It’s a class d amp so it only sounds as good as a class d amp will sound, it’s replacing a class A/b amp that I think sounded better. Though it wasn’t nearly as loud. But honestly that was to be expected.
The amp seems to be a good build quality. It feels heavy. Sturdy. I like the Tiffany style RCA inputs. I like the straight up and down speaker inputs as opposed to the angled versions that brands like Rockville use. Although I wish the speaker inputs weren’t on top of each other, but that’s neither here nor there really. Just personal preference. As far as my overall impression of the amp, I don’t know about how long it will last. But I set my gains properly and I expect for it to last me a while. I’ve been into car audio for years and I can honestly say this is the first time I’ve been impressed with a no name brand since using a recoil amp, though recoil amps don’t seem to last very long. At least the lower tier Recoil amps, so I’m hoping this one does. Four stars because I don’t know about longevity. But overall I’m happy.
