Nice
I got the monTEK Stable Triple Monitor Stand for my workstation at home, and I’m happy with it. Setting it up was easy. The instructions were clear, and I had everything assembled in no time. I love how adjustable it is. Each arm can move freely, allowing me to position my monitors just the way I like them. I have three different-sized screens, ranging from 17″ to 32″, and they all fit perfectly without any fuss. The sturdiness of the base gives me confidence that my monitors are safe and secure, even when I adjust them frequently. One of the best features for me is how much desk space I save. With this stand, my workspace feels less cluttered, allowing for better organization. It holds each screen firmly, and there’s minimal wobble, even when I’m typing or moving my desk around.
So many screens now.
This thing is kind of amazing, and also a little excessive. It was easy to put together, just a few screws and its all sitting there ready to go. It comes with all the hex wrenches you need, but you will need a Philips head and an 8mm for the screw and two nuts that secure the Vesa mounts to the arms.
I installed mine “upside down” in regards to how it’s show in the images, the two monitors are on top and the single is on the bottom. It worked better for the monitors I have, and is just fine in terms of stability still. It would be pretty hard to topple this thing, which is a good thing of course. Its also fairly stable in terms of not wiggling much, but all of these stands like this will wiggle a bit if the desk is bumped. You won’t find one that wont.
Functional and stable
This style of monitor arm is my least favorite as far as looks. This style of stand allows for some limited movement and adjustment of the attached monitors. You can swivel each one a bit to the left or right, but as far as raising or lowering, there’s no such movement possible without loosening the clamps and sliding the arms up to down.
If you don’t mind the more industrial look, this stand will keep three larger monitors in front of you without clamping onto, or drilling into your desk. If a certain amount of mobility is needed and you can’t risk leaving marks or holes on your desk, this type of stand is perfect. Sometimes a third monitor is all you need.
The approximately 30″ tall main support post can be used to put the monitors pretty high up. In my case, I even mixed and matched a bit and used the desk clamp from another arm with this post to give my monitors a bit more elevation on a work/test bench with multiple screens. It’s working very well.
