Finally a Travel Pillow That Actually Works
I think I’ve tried at least 25 different travel pillows over the years, so I really wasn’t expecting much—but this one proved me wrong. It’s honestly amazing. It keeps my head supported the entire time, and I didn’t have any neck pain or that awkward moment of wondering if I was about to loll over onto the stranger next to me on the plane.
The design does a great job of holding your head in place without feeling bulky, and once you get it adjusted, it feels really secure. I also love that it comes with its own carrying case, and the clip makes it super easy to attach to my backpack without taking up extra space.
The only small issue I had is that the material can get a little warm after wearing it for a while, especially on longer trips. Not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of.

Comfort and portability mee
This review is for trtl travel pillow 2.0 scientifically proven super soft, travel pillow with premium head and neck support for airplane, travel machine washable, lightweight, and compact jet black. The travel pillow seems well-made and the material is like a super soft fleece type material. It’s easy to use this pillow whether it’s on an airplane or a car ride. I like that it comes with a travel pouch as well that has a carabiner on it so it’s convenient to travel with. This keeps my head in place whenever I want to nap when I’m traveling and it’s comfortable as well. I think this is a great quality travel pillow and it’s convenient to take with you as well so I would recommend it.
Interesting approach to the travel pillow
There are a million videos on social media raving about this travel pillow, so I wanted to try it. I don’t know what the difference is between the original and this 2.0.
I’ve been slowly gathering supplies for my family’s first international trip this summer, including travel pillows. I haven’t tried this on a plane yet, but I’ve testing it a bit at home. The fabric is soft and comfortable and the plastic frame feels quite sturdy. It’s a pretty novel approach to the travel pillows, and I think it could really work, especially if you like to lean your head but don’t have the window seat. My head felt supported and the fabric probably prevents your mouth from falling open as you sleep. My favorite part is that it packs down smaller very small! Basically the hard shell and some fabric. Also comes with a 2 year warranty.
I included a highlighter for scale in my photos the one of it packed away, it’s in the case it came with, so the actual pillow packs down even smaller than it looks like there.
Most comfortable travel pillow ever!
The trtl travel pillow is made of a soft fleece material and comes with a storage pouch with a secure buckle. The pillow has a rigid plastic frame inside that supports your head and neck. It helps you relax completely so you can fall asleep anywhere.
It has dual velcro fasteners that when wrapped around your neck fasten at the exact tension that will support your head, neck and jaw comfortably. I used this on a long car trip and it helped me so much. I slept for a few hours without any neck pain. This pillow is by far the most comfortable travel pillow I have ever used and I have tried almost everything on the market. The price was a bit higher than other pillows but it is worth every penny.
It is very lightweight to carry and comes with its own storage pouch with a buckle so you can secure it to your carry on. The cover comes off and is machine washable. Overall a well thought out ergonomic travel pillow that will allow you to sleep anywhere in comfort without neck pain. I love this pillow so much I will be buying more for my family.
May not fit everyones neck comfortably
I own the first version of this neck pillow and this second version is a bit softer but the comfort is either the same or worse for me. It may be different for others since this seems to have a wider contour than the first model. As opposed to the first version, I feel can feel the hard shell when I lay my neck down on it near one of the edges of the pillow neck resting area. Out of the box, the pillow smelled slightly like synthetic orange though that’s not a big deal since it is machine washable. The straps do fit securely just like the previous model. Overal, you can give this a try but it may not be suitable for everyone due to size and fitting.
