Fun little camera, but not high quality photos
I ordered this camera to take just fun, candid shots, mostly at home. I like that they are peel and stick on the back, so you can put the 2″x3″ photos anywhere. I also enjoy displaying them them on my refrigerator.
The instructions are pretty simple. The camera can be charged, and if you add an SD card (NOT included) you can store the photos on that card, as well as print photos to keep. Without the SD card, you will just get the prints, but they won’t be stored.
The camera is cute, lightweight and really portable. I think teens and tweens would love to use it with friends, or for candid shots at parties.
I took off one star because, like most instant cameras, the quality of the pictures is average at best. There is a flash, but I’ve found that the colors are not consistent. The instructions recommend a 6′ distance for the best shots and I agree that is probably how you will get your best color quality.
The camera is not expensive, so if you don’t require high resolution pictures, but would like an easily portable, functional camera, this might be a good option.
I included a photo of the picture quality I got, as well as a photo of the easy instructions. I have found photo paper refills at about 50 cents per photo online, fyi.

This camera is adorable, lightweight, and incredibly easy to use. I’ve already taken several photos of my three puppies, and the results have been a lot of fun. The image quality has a distinct vintage vibe, especially once printed. It gives photos a nostalgic, slightly retro feel that works beautifully for memories rather than clinical perfection.
It’s a great option for beginners, kids, or anyone who enjoys scrapbooking or creative projects. The 2×3-inch prints are adhesive-backed, so they’re perfect for journals, crafts, school projects, or decorating small spaces.
So far I’ve taken about 20 pictures and haven’t needed to recharge it yet, which is impressive for a compact camera. Loading the paper is simple and straightforward. One important tip: keep the original blue calibration card that comes with the camera. Use that card each time you load a new pack of paper, even if you switch brands. That helps maintain consistent color. And since it uses Zink technology, there’s no ink to replace. Zink literally means “zero ink,” which makes the whole process cleaner and more convenient.
The build quality feels solid for its size, and it sits comfortably in your hand. It also includes a small LED flash, which is helpful in lower light situations.
I also love the color. That classic Kodak yellow gives it an iconic, throwback look that fits perfectly with the vintage character of the prints. Overall, it’s a fun, easy-to-use camera that’s more about capturing moments creatively than technical perfection.
Easy to use, expensive paper refills
I was so excited to get this camera but the novelty quickly wore off, I forgot how hard it is to take good photos when you can’t see the image before taking the picture! Being an old person, I remember the days we’d bring a disposable Kodak camera along on our adventures, then have to pay to get the photos developed and hope you caught some good ones. Once you’re used to having a viewfinder like we all do on our phones and tablets, adjusting back to this kind of camera is a bit of a downgrade.
It comes with just 5 sheets of photo paper, in a tiny packet like Pokemon cards. It’s easy to load the pack, just the paper is a bit pricey. I think I paid $20 for a refill.
The photo quality is…alright. I’ve included a picture of a picture I took along with the area I photographed to give you an idea. It’s better than I expected honestly, just not the 19 million pixels 8K quality we’re used to seeing these days (bit of an exaggeration there).
It takes a second for it to process or whatever between taking the picture and printing, then spits it out slowly. I didn’t time it, maybe 30-60 seconds from the time you click a pic to the time it’s in your hand. Not bad.
I haven’t tried any other comparable instant cameras on the market currently, I think the last one I owned was a Polaroid sticker one from the late 90s/early 00s. So can’t speak to how this performs against similar products.
When I rate products, I consider value, performance, and accuracy of photos/product description in my star rating. I’d say this camera does what it’s supposed to and does it fairly well. Price feels high in this economy but you’re getting a brand name and it performs as well as expected for this class of product I’d say.
