Heavy Duty Auger Storage
Very heavy duty case. I was very surprised as I was not expecting it to be heftier than the one on my gas auger. It’s well worth its cost. A bonus is 2 zip up storage compartments on its side. Very happy with this item.
Durable carrying case, and works for ice drill augers
We got this ice auger bag for our ice drill auger, the auger and drill case fit inside of the bag perfectly. The bag is definitely bigger than we expected it to be, the material is thick and durable, the zipper’s are heavy duty and work smoothly for the most part. The inside has a thin plastic sheet to protect the auger, the bag comes folded up so that plastic sheet is folded inwards, it does hold it’s shape when the auger is inside it, but collapses inwards when it is empty. The shoulder strap is thick and looks secure, and shouldn’t ripe under the weight of our auger. It has a couple of pockets, to hold things like bits and extra batteries or other fishing gear. This bag is perfect for keeping the auger from just rolling around in our sleds and protecting the plastic parts of the auger. The bottom however doesn’t have any kind of reinforcement or protection like the plastic sheet that goes around the auger, I think a solid bottom like the sides would make this even better.
Protect your investment with this spacious, heavy duty bag
This is a nice size durable bag that fits my husband’s auger. He likes that it keeps it protected from the outside elements as well as keeping himself or anyone else safe that’s in his vehicle. Normally he used to just put his auger on his sled uncovered , and now he puts the bag on the sled with the auger inside. It also has two pockets that can be used to store other accessories while ice fishing or any other smaller items that you want to bring with you. The bottom has a hard plastic like lining to help keep the auger from tearing through the bag. The bag also has padded handles and a padded shoulder carrying strap but it is rather thin padding. It’s also got heavy duty zippers and material on the bag is thick. I anticipate this bag lasting him a while.
Definitely universal sized!
I’ve tried a different cover that was meant for any Eskimo auger and it didn’t fit over the handles. My auger is a little older but she still works great.
This bag is made of a very thick and heavy weight material. Has a plastic liner for added protection around the auger. Shoulder strap and handle for easy carrying. Has 2 storage pouches for easy storage of accessories. This is a great value for what you’re getting as it’s very durable and will protect the auger. If you have bought one, you know that don’t come cheap!
Nice heavy duty bag to protect an ice auge
This fits my Jiffy pro 4 10″ auger. It is snug but I imagine will get easier in time with use.
It is really well made and easy to get the auger into. Nice stitching, heavy zippers, and there is a plastic liner where the auger goes. This will be nice for storing and transporting auger with other gear and keeping it protected.
It’s great quality at $50 it is worth it.
Great bag for my husband's ice fishing auger and more.
I’ll be there first to admit that I know very little about ice fishing and only know the basics of what an auger is but my husband has been ice fishing all of his life. Oddly, he’s never had a bag like this. I thought it might be useful for him and he really likes it. When I first gave it to him, he said it was nice but not really necessary, but now that he’s been using it, I don’t think he would want to go back to lugging his stuff separately the way he was. His auger fits fine in the bag along with some other ice fishing things.
The quality seems to be good. The zippers don’t snag or split and the material is pretty thick. Lots of different things can fit in this bag but my husband uses it exactly for what it was made to be used for. It’s a good size and the red color is quite nice and very visible. The bag protects everything inside and is easy to carry. We don’t know how long the bag will hold up but it appears durable so I’m going with 5 stars now and will rerate if there’s a problem later on. It really seems to be a good value for the price.

I was quite surprised how nice this bag was when it came. Overall, it seems very sturdy, has a hardened inner lining so the auger does not dig through the side of the case. The upper portion is wide enough for any ice auger with an engine, electric driver, or a hand drill. I threw my Milwaukee drill kit in the upper portion and it fit nicely. There are pockets on the side for various items. The only defect I found was at an end of the zippers where it was sewn slightly separated, and I fear the zipper may start to come apart. However, the zipper is a double zipper. I’ve never seen one quite so heavy duty and I’m very pleased with it. So even if there’s if or does start to separate slightly, I just have to move the zipper up and shove it back together and it would be fine. It does have a carry strap, but it is not a strap you would want to put over your shoulder and carry for miles across the ice. I just throw mine in the sled and tow it so the strap makes no difference to me.
