Flexible monitor arm with smooth adjustment and good value
This **HUANUO ultrawide monitor arm is stated that it is designed for larger displays (supporting screens from 13–40 inches and up to 12kg).
It fitted my monitor easily using the VESA mount, and the option of either a C-clamp or more permanent fixing means you have a decent choice.
Installation was easy enough and instructions are very clear.
Once installed, the arm has freed up a good amount of desk space and it allows plenty of flexibility in positioning the screen.
The gas spring mechanism moves smoothly, and has a decent range of height adjustment, tilt, swivel and rotation. It’s easy to move the monitor to a comfortable viewing position and adjust it, if needed.
Cable clips are included to help keep wires tidy, although they could be a little tight if you have several cables to route through them.
One small limitation is the lack of horizontal sliding adjustment near the VESA plate. If you were planning to run two separate arms side-by-side against a wall, lining the screens up perfectly might take a bit more effort.
At the full price of about 60 it sits in the mid-range for this type of monitor arm, but discounts often bring it closer to 35, which makes it particularly good value. Overall it’s a practical upgrade from a standard monitor stand and should suit most home or office desks.
