This is definitely a luxury item. Did I need a one hundred dollar cocktail shaker? Absolutely not. Am I happy I have one? VERY. First of all, love that it is affiliated with Dr. Dre and Snoop. I did not know that they had a gin line but I am going to buy a bottle to go with my shaker. I got the gold version of this and it is tastefully done. I thought it might look tacky but it looks expensive. I love that there are built in measurements, it is very handy. The seal seems very tight, no leaks at all when completely upside down. I accidentally dropped it when taking it out of the box and luckily, it did not break, it seems well constructed. Good insulation, drinks stay icy. If you are looking for an upgrade for your bar or if you are a die hard fan of Snoop and Dre, this is something you should treat yourself to. It would make a great gift as well.

Finally a Cocktail Shaker That Doesn’t Get Stuck
We’ve owned a lot of cocktail shakers over the years and they usually fall into two camps: metal ones where the lid gets completely stuck after shaking with ice, or plastic ones that eventually crack. This one feels like a serious upgrade!
Right out of the box it feels high-end. The packaging, weight, and finish honestly give “this should cost $100” vibes. While it is hand wash only, like many higher-end kitchenwares and bar tools, we can’t wait to keep testing new drinks!
What I really appreciate is the screw design for both the main lid and the top strainer, which creates an excellent seal (plus replacement seals are included). Compared to typical press-fit cocktail shakers, you’re not fighting to pry off a frozen cap after shaking with ice. Dor ease of use, the sections thread on securely but come apart easily when you’re ready to pour! Additionally, the lid has measurements embossed inside, so there’s no need to dirty an extra shot glass.
The gold hex texture is gorgeous and gives a really solid grip while shaking. It looks fantastic sitting out and will definitely be a conversation piece on our bar cart!
If you’ve dealt with stuck lids or flimsy shakers before, this is a really nice upgrade.

First, a confession: I am a little obsessed with the HexClad brand, having purchased several of their products over the past couple of years. Their products may on the pricey side, but in my experience, they provide a mix of an aesthetic “wow” factor with quality materials and products that are built to last and perform well for a long time. So I jumped at the chance to review HexClad’s 25 oz cocktail shaker.
My impression: this cocktail shaker is stunning! It is a trendy glossy gold on the outside with a textured geometric design that mirrors the Hexclad “look” as well as the bottle of its product partner, Still Gin. The interior is a quality stainless steel. The cap has two sections, so you can use it to measure the contents of your cocktail then strain and pour it after shaking. The shaker comes in an elegant box that gives it that air of something special, great for gifting. It would make a welcome gift for a lover of craft cocktails; for gin lovers, you might even want to include a bottle Still Gin. If you are looking for a cocktail shaker that is equal parts beautiful and functional, or a gift to impress, this is a great option. Sure it’s pricey, but you get what you pay for.
