I have enjoyed having this blanket during the cold winter days we have been experiencing. It’s so nice to come home and warm up with it on the couch while watching tv. I especially love that it only takes a moment to heat up. I usually crank mine up to the max because I am always cold! My husband uses it too but likes the lower heat setting, it’s great for the entire family, customize to the heat that works for you with 10 different heat settings. The flannel material is incredibly soft and I love how cozy the Sherpa is. Unlike my old heating blanket, I can put this one right into the washer with my other bedding. One other option that I like and use often is the timer. It can be set to go off automatically. I take it to bed with me every night so I can turn the heat down in the house and save gas, but with it I stay sooo warm through the night.
Originally, I wanted to return it after a few days because it stopped working. Originally, it was awesome. However, I did find the manual, and there was no troubleshooting to point out why it stopped working. I initiated the return went through everything. But then I saw that the cord had disconnected itself from the blanket. I wondered how that could be because it is held on with these prongs. So I plugged it in and made sure it was plugged all the way in. Then it worked like a gem, no problem. So apparently it was just that it wasn’t plugged into the blanket all the way. That’s why it initially worked, but then stopped as it became more and more loose. The thing is, it comes plugged into the blanket, so I didn’t check it thinking it was plugged in all the way. This is a lovely blanket, super soft and works really well. I don’t know if this was a one off, but they need to make sure that it is plugged in all the way, or at least say something in the owners manual stating the people need to double check the connection to the blanket and make sure it is plugged in all the way until it locks.
I got my husband his own electric blanket since we wanted to try to preserve our heater as best we can during this winter. This blanket is way better than mine in the sense that it heats more and stays warm for 8 hours. It’s also thicker than mine and soft. For how inexpensive it is compared to mine, it was worth the money. He loved it so much, it’s the one thing he looks forward to when he comes home from work. Will be buying from this seller again.
Nice blanket. This is a warming blanket, so nothing crazy as far as heating ability. But it will keep your lap warm on a cold day. The cats absolutely love it. It’s well made, had mine for a couple of months and no problems with it. Haven’t had to wash it, but it’s possible to do so. It’s a nice size, long enough to where you can tuck the ends up around your feet. The control unit is simple, and works as it should. Came at a great price, so overall it is a solid value. Like it a lot.
Good Quality and Heats Up Fas
This blanket gets HOT fast and I really like that. It works well and has several different settings. You can barely feel the wires in the blanket so that’s nice too. Very soft.
