Best flash ever.
This thing really is the coolest flash I’ve ever used. It is so compact yet still have good power output. Its party trick is the magnetic base so you can remove the head and handheld the unit and use the base as a remote trigger. It all happens so seamlessly.
I can not recommend this flash enough. I really hope godox continues to use the x5 base for future flashes.

Ive been testing the Godox IT32 TTL flash with the X5N trigger and I have to say its a very clever and practical piece of equipment, especially if youre just starting out or looking for something lightweight and easy to carry.
The first thing I noticed is its compact and lightweight design, its incredibly convenient to carry in a small bag… If youre used to bulky flashes, this is a huge advantage.
Lets be honest, the power isnt extremely high but for beginners, small events, indoor portraits, or controlled lighting setups, it works very well…. It’s compatible with both TTL and HSS, and its colorful touchscreen makes navigating the settings intuitive and quick… The rotating head adds flexibility and the built-in modeling light is a really useful feature for previewing how the light will fall..
What I find most appealing is its 2-in-1 design. It can be detached from the trigger and used as an external flash which adds a ton of creative possibilities without the need for additional equipment…. It’s a smart design choice.
Battery life is another strong point. It lasts quite a while, which means I don’t have to carry multiple spare batteries; my back thanks me for that
Overall, this is a well-designed, versatile, and easy-to-use flash system for beginners.,. Lightweight, practical, and packed with useful features without being overwhelming. For its size and functionality, I give it five stars.

Amazing little flash for its price. Just the portability alone of this flash is a game changer. To be able to separate it from the magnetic X5 trigger and still control the flash is pretty cool. TTL and HSS built in with a very user friendly touch screen display. I like it for its compact sise and it’s a great flash that is easy to carry in my camera bag. Will also connect to the X3 trigger to be either a master or slave dependent on your requirements. 100% recommend this flash. Well worth it.
Great flash if you are staring out and good for seasoned professional in certain aspects
Fantastic flash, it’s small but powerful enough for portraits no problem. Used it in a graduation at a hotel, first a part of a two flash set for portraits up to 6 people and then for the party. It was a 12 hour day I did charge it for about an hour after the first portraits since I had to use it full blast. True it’s not meant for that, but it was what I could set up in the space and it worked quite well bounced of an umbrella. One con I did have problems where the trigger wouldn’t work on the second flash on location, might have been the amount of cellphones and things interfering in the location. Definitely would buy again. It has its limitations it’s not a pro flash but it works very well

The IT32 flash has detachable X5 trigger unit, which can be attached to the camera hot shoe. The flash gets magnetically attached to the X5 trigger, as on-camera flash. If it is detached, the X5 unit can remotely trigger the flash, as an off-camera flash. The X5 triggers are designed for various camera brand and they can be bought separately for each brand, without having to a buy a separate flash.
The flash is compact but powerful. It has a rechargeable battery, which has a solid performance. The flash also has a touch screen with intuitive menu options to setup desired settings. It supports TTL and manual mode, high speed sync and is compatible with other 2.4 Ghz Godox triggers. It also has an impressive modeling light.
I am equally impressed by the flash power as well. It has a swivel head which can be rotated to set the light angle. During an indoor shoot, I just set the flash on half power, and bounced the light from the ceiling and was very impressed with its power and quality.
It also comes with light diffuser and magnetic Full CTO and half CTO gels, which can bring in dramatic light effect. It makes it a super awesome choice as rim light as well. Because of its compact size, it is very easy to carry and use.
It also comes with the stand attachment, which can be used to put it as off-camera flash on various stands. It also comes with a bag to carry the flash and other accessories.
I must say that this is a very innovative product since now I can use the same flash with two different brands of camera, just with two different brands of X5 units, which are super reasonably priced.
I am very happy with its performance so far and will be using this flash more often.
This is a tiny, pocket sized flash that is fairly powerful for its size and full featured to boot. You can use it as an on camera flash, pull it of it’s transmitter base and use its as an off camera flash with TTL and manual control, or even as a master flash for any of the Godox ecosystem flashes. It has surprisingly good battery life. It’s TTL exposure is more accurate than my V1’s BY FAR and I’m just amazed to be able to use it (at close range) in high speed sync, with great results, backlit portraits shot against the afternoon sun at 1/5000 second! I’ve even tried it off camera, inside 20 inch, 24 inch, 28 inch and even 36 inch soft boxes with great results. Go Godox!
A compact ingenious flash
I was surprised by the size, the convenience (no battery of any type – internal). I was impressed by the power of such a little flash. Cleaver and genius way to integrate the receiver, absolutely amazing. Godox hit a home run with the iT32 in my humble opinion. I do have other Godox flashes and lights, definitely this will be my “go to” flash. I have not been able to explore it fully, I received it this past Sunday, looking forward to enjoy and have fun with my new iT32. Thank you.
Great On-Camera TTL Flash (Great for travel)
Excellent compact TTL flash for on-camera use. It’s lightweight, easy to operate, and works perfectly with my Canon camera. TTL exposure is accurate and consistent, and recycle time is fast.
Build quality feels solid and performance is reliable. For the price, this flash delivers great results and is an excellent value. Highly recommended.
