Good for average garden hose
Pros:
easy to assemble and all tools included
Solid construction, adequate to hold hoses with good coating to prevent rust
Long stakes to keep solidly in the ground, be sure to put in dense soil, loose soil or sand will not hold it well
Cons:
One screw stripped while assembly, there are two so it still works but the threads were easy to strip on that one
May not hold large heavy hoses well. This seems to be perfect for hoses up to about 15 lbs, more than that might shorten its life.
Well designed and sturdy
Well engineered, solid construction, good paint job, properly soldered joints, no sharp edges or burs, thick ground spikes. quick and easy assembly.
I have a lot of heavy duty garden hoses at various locations on our property. I prefer not to leave the hoses curled up on the ground because they get so grody. Since moving to rural Florida (zone 9b) a few years ago, I have gone through my fair share of hose stands. Some started to fall apart soon after setting them up. Issues included skinny, unstable ground spikes and poorly designed stands that used only one bolt to secure joining poles. As soon as I put one hose on, the joints would start to shift and the entire frame would tilt forward. My best and favorite stand held up well for 2 years until Hurricane Milton breezed by. I forgot to remove the hose and the gale force winds caused the thick supporting pole to snap in two at the base. The JUNYIYOUO Garden Hose Holder is the garden solution I need to replace it.
If you look at the product page photos, you will see each pole section is joined together with two bolts. The threaded slots and bolts are an exact match – no wiggle room, no shifting. The hose holder is equally sturdy. I dragged over the two nearest garden hoses – a thick, heavy duty 110′ and another 75′ – and loaded them onto the hose holder. Didn’t even flinch or dip under the weight. The loaded garden hose stand has been up several days and exposed to wind and rain. No sagging or leaning. The JUNYIYOUO Garden Hose Holder is the best and sturdiest stand I’ve ever owned. I’ve temporarily set up the stand out in the open to have the hoses easily accessible while setting up my raised garden bed irrigation systems. When done, the stand will be moved to an area protected from the sun and wind.
Note: The product page shows the holder with a skinny hose giving the impression that the stand is taller than it is. The clearance between the base of the holder and the ground is ~31″. I loaded my hoses as as is so they touch the ground. The JUNYIYOUO Garden Hose stand is the just the right height and width. I speak from experience.
Perfection! Strong, tall, sleek, built to last- The hose holder of my dreams!
Not sure how it’s possible to be THIS excited and content about a garden hose holder, but I am lol! Took a chance on this because I thought the design looked unique and had great potential. I have tried so many other hose holders and storage options that I get from hardware stores are big box stores. they’ve all either been made of a plastic or a type of coated wire metal that never seems to stand the test of time more than a season. But this one This is the one I’ve been looking for! And I’ve never seen any option at a local store that is anything like this.
You can see from my photos how easy the assembling will be. I think it took me about 15 minutes, including throwing all the packaging away and taking it outside! This is a minor feature that doesn’t really speak to the functionality, but I absolutely love the color green that it comes in! I plan on moving this around the yard as I need it throughout my gardening season. Even with the hose loaded on it, I think it’ll still be easy to hoist out of the ground and move around. I use 100 foot hoses and this is going to handle that without a problem. When I pushed it into the ground, I even jumped on it a little and put all my weight on it and it’s not going anywhere.
Whoever designed this really put great thought into the experience. The additional hooks on the backside are great for anything from a hanging water bottle to a pair of gloves or the many many things we find ourselves, carrying around the yard. The footprint that it takes up is not a lot, but it’s just enough to make it incredibly sturdy. It is also way taller than it looks in the Amazon product pics, so check the measurements. I love the height. No bending.
I am 100% buying another one of these for my large backyard. I have hundred foot hoses in the front and back and these hose holders are gonna be my two little buddies. I can already tell! My backyard has lots of slopes. It seems that this can work even if you don’t have a level ground.
Also, the hardware makes this assembly so solid and the machining for all of the metal parts is really uniform and high-quality. I know this is gonna last for years and years and years. I’ll update with some photos after I’ve had it outside for a season. Highly, highly recommend I am so happy I got this! Could easily be double the price.
