desk set up is overall more ergonomic because i am able to adjust the height of my monitors to eye level. mounting monitors also helped open up space on my desk. easy installation and has made my workspace more enjoyable
Great for my curved monito
After several weeks of daily use, it has proven to be a worthwhile upgrade to my desk setup. Right out of the box, the construction feels reassuringly solid. The metal components don’t feel hollow or flimsy, and once mounted, the arm has a stable, confidence-inspiring presence. Installation was straightforward, especially with the C-clamp option. It secured tightly to my desk without shifting, and the included hardware covered everything needed for a clean setup.
Where this arm really stands out is in adjustability. Once properly tensioned, the gas spring mechanism allows for smooth vertical and horizontal movement. I can easily reposition my monitor throughout the day depending on whether I’m sitting upright, leaning back, or standing. The tilt, swivel, and rotation adjustments make it simple to switch between landscape and portrait orientations, which is especially useful for productivity tasks. It genuinely helps create a more ergonomic workspace and frees up valuable desk space that would otherwise be taken up by a bulky stand.
That said, dialing in the gas spring tension requires a bit of patience. Out of the box, it may either rise too quickly or slowly sag under the monitor’s weight until you fine-tune it with the included hex key. It’s not difficult, but it does take a few small adjustments to get it balanced just right. Additionally, if your monitor is close to the max weight limit, you may notice the arm operating near its upper range. It holds securely, but performance feels best with mid-weight monitors in the 24–27 inch range.
Cable management is functional, though not exceptional. The built-in clips keep cables organized and out of sight from the front, contributing to a cleaner overall look. However, the arm doesn’t fold completely flush to the wall, so if you’re aiming for an ultra-minimal, low-profile setup, that’s something to keep in mind.
Does the job decently
Leaves a lot of space on my desk, way more than with the old mounts. Gas cylinders were set perfectly when I got it. It jiggles somewhat when anything moves the desk and holds my vertical monitor a little cockeyed though.
