This is a simple & fun play gym for babies. The assemble is easy and the mat is the perfect size. Unlike a lot of toys these days, no batteries are required. However, there is a lot going on with this gym and a lot to love. Every aspect of the mat stimulates a different sense that keeps baby engaged. I love that the gym includes a mirror. I have never come across a baby who doesn’t love looking at their reflection. There are fun sound makers, simple toys, and last of not lease, the kick to spin mobile. I like that the mobile can be modified to a more appropriate spinning toy for an older infant. I also appreciate that the play mat can be washed. It has proven very durable to play and washing so far. All in all, this is a simple and engaging toy for babies that won’t overstimulate your little one and it requires no batteries.

My wife and I are expecting our daughter in just two months and we are so excited to set up this Fisher Price play mat in our living room! It is going to be the perfect little play area for her as she grows. The mat itself is very cute and features adorable animals printed right on the fabric like a little green frog. It feels like it will be just perfect for tummy time and then transition nicely as she gets older to play with all the attached toys.
The toys included are so well designed for sensory interaction and they function beautifully to keep a baby entertained! It is decently large, to support growth from lying to play. There is a little brown bear attachment that has a bee on top which forcefully rotates to one side so the baby can spin it around. I also love the little flower piece that goes right into the setup for even more visual stimulation. Everything feels very safe and thoughtfully constructed for a newborn to explore. Assembly looks simple, but sometimes these dont disassemble easily. This is a great value for a developmental toy that will bring so much joy to our little girl!

We absolutely love this Fisher Price 3 in 1 Kick and Sway Gym and it has been such a great addition to daily playtime. The bright colors and sensory toys immediately grabbed my baby’s attention and the kick and sway feature keeps them engaged and encourages movement in a really fun way. I appreciate that it grows with baby since it works beautifully for lay and play in the newborn stage and transitions easily into tummy time and more active play as they get stronger. The mat is soft and comfortable and everything feels sturdy and well made. It was easy to assemble and fits nicely in our space without taking over the room. I would definitely recommend this activity gym to any new parent looking for something engaging and developmentally supportive.

Battery free baby play mat! Completely baby powered which is great as it gets tiresome sometimes always changing batteries in kids toys.

Quality you expect from fisher price baby toys.
We have their kickin piano play mat as well but this is different from that one and will be used as a separate tummy time/play time session. My girl doesn’t like kicking piano buttons but loves to kick this. I think it’s because when she kicks this, it has some give as it’s a pedal. Rather than just kicking against something hard.
First time putting my baby down and she was kicking away while chatting about life. The additional little rattles, I put around her hands so when she waves her hands it makes noises as well.
We’re also a fan of this one since it’s not your typical loud music baby toy.
Also fits perfectly inside a baby playpen. I put it inside her play pen so I don’t have to get on the ground right now until we have her play area set up with a safe place away from the dog.

The Fisher-Price brand, of course, is well known for the quality and durability of the toys they produce, and this play mat just out from Fisher Price doesn’t disappoint. No batteries, just simple sensory stimulation that involves all 5 of a baby’s senses. Your baby will initiate it all and will never be overstimulated because all action is powered by your baby as they move from one experience to another, looking at the mirror, batting at the hanging toys, or watching the mobile sway as they kick, or feeling and listening to the crinkly mat beneath their fingers. As a parent, you can also interact with your baby as they engage with this gym. The setup takes a while, close to half an hour with many parts, but easy to assemble. The playmat is thick and soft and can be machine washed when needed. The loops on the playmat connect to the included toys. The mobile which is initiated by the baby’s kicks is super cute. Another plus is that Amazon’s price is lower than what other retailers are charging.
Fun, exciting & no batteries needed!
My 3 month old absolutely loves this play mat, especially when I sit nearby and watch him. The moment I lay him down and he sees the toys and mirror, he starts kicking his legs and waving his arms. When his kicks make the mobile sway back and forth, he gets so excited and looks back at me like he wants to make sure I saw what he just did.
It has been really sweet to see him learn that his movements make things happen. The swaying motion keeps his attention much longer than other mats we have tried. He enjoys staring at the high contrast patterns and the mirror, and he loves batting at the hanging toys. During tummy time, he stays engaged longer because he can look at the mirror and crinkly mat while I cheer him on.
Putting it together was easier than I expected, even though there were a lot of parts. The box recommends about 20 minutes for assembly, and that was pretty accurate. The instructions were clear and easy to understand, and everything snapped together without trouble.
I like that it does not use batteries and is not loud or overstimulating. It feels like a good balance of fun and development. The mat is thick and soft, and it is easy to wash when needed.
Overall this has become part of our daily routine. He smiles, kicks, and babbles while playing, and I love watching him discover how his body makes things move. It is a simple toy, but it has brought us a lot of happy moments together.
