Product description

5 Star Blu-ray Player!
I have been using this player for several days and, so far, can find no cons to mention. It loaded immediately on connecting the USB-A part of the combo A/C cable and when I snapped in a Blu-ray dvd, it cued up faster than what I consider normal. It seems well built, and after loading several other dvd’s, there has not been one glitch. I’d highly recommend this excellent unit!
A good quality external Blu-ray player and CD/DVD burne
This external burner/player has been a workhorse and a great addition to my computing setup. With internal drives nigh-on impossible to find in a laptop or desktop PC, I needed an easy way to digitize my CD collection, pull photos from old discs, and create new backups. The drive itself connects via a single USB 3.0 Type-A or Type-C connector. As a side note, and this was not an issue for me, but if your computer’s USB ports don’t provide enough power, you’ll need to connect one or the plug into external power. That could pose a challenge since the cable is fixed to the drive and cannot be removed. At least the manufacturer had the good sense to allow it to be safely stored in a channel at the bottom of the unit. There’s no included software so you’ll need to source some for more elaborate burning projects. That said, If you’re looking for a solid external burner/player I don’t have any qualms recommending this one, though I would probably wait for a sale as the asking price is a touch on the high side.
