GOOBOX External Blu-ray: it is light weight and the cable is short so getting access to the front buttons can be done by holding it down and with the same hand, press the open button. It sits on the cable so isn’t stable. I ripped one CD. I didn’t try Blu-ray as mine are in storage. I didn’t write to anything either as I rarely do that now.
It works great but if you have USB-C It's cumbersome. I replaced the cord.

I bought this external Blu-ray drive for backup and Blu-ray use. Please note that Blu-ray playback requires compatible third-party software, which is normal for this type of drive. Once set up, it works smoothly and reliably.
The drive is easy to use, connects quickly via USB, and feels solid and portable. Noise level is low and performance has been stable so far.
Overall, good value for the price and does exactly what I need.
