I got these arch stands for my daughter’s birthday party coming up in April. We usually celebrate outside, but it’s almost always really windy where we live, so balloons alone never work out very well. I wanted something that would hold decorations better outdoors, and these have been great so far.
I’ve actually set them up in my backyard three different times to test them, and they held up really well. We didn’t use a ton of balloons—mostly fabric covers over the arches with a few balloons added—and everything stayed in place nicely. The included ground stakes and water bags definitely help with stability.
They were also very easy to put together and take apart, and the pieces feel sturdy and well made. The metal frame feels solid, not flimsy, and I like that they come with a storage bag so everything stays organized when not in use.

Good value for the size!
I have quite a few of these arches, but I didn’t have any as tall as these. The other ones I have are put together with wing nuts. I do feel like those are a bit sturdier, but those do have caveats. The assembly doesn’t look as seamless with those as it does with these. I like that these you can put covers on and not see all of the pieces and where they adjoin. The assembly overall was really easy with these. I like that they came with gold water bags so they are the same color as the arches. The carrying bags feel pretty cheap, but I prefer to keep them in the labeled boxes with their heights anyways. The size seemed to be accurate and they look good overall! I think for the cost and size, these are a good value.
Steel contruction and painted
Steel and painted gold. I ordered these so that I could do balloon arches without the need to use a string and helium in the balloons. The metal is steel and holds a magnet well. The main box contains two smaller boxes with the size labeled. Once you get into the first box you’ll understand why they’re separated. Initially it will look complicated, but there are pieces which screw in at both ends and pieces with a smooth end. The smooth ends are for the base and the twist pieces for the poles. The arch pieces connect with press button connections. You might have the same first thought I did which is that to go from 6ft to 7.2ft they might have just added two more support column pieces. That’s not what they do. They make it wider by adding a piece in the base and a piece at the top. That means the curvature of the arch also changes. That means the two sets aren’t interchangeable at least for the arch portion. So there are separate bags in each box for each. Each box also has 4 stakes to hold it to the ground and 2 water bags. The water bags weren’t overly impressive and I don’t know that they’ll last particularly long. They don’t have specific directions on using the water bags, but I’d suggest after draining them to leave them open so they completely get rid of moisture inside in between usage. The paint on the arches is paint and not powder coating. It came off where they pieces screwed together, but that also means as paint it’s something that can be touched up and blended better than if it was powder coated. Honestly, they’re quite substantial given the current pricing.
