Massive And Easy To Adjus
Set up is very simple and the telescoping poles are really easy to adjust exactly as you need them. It’s a very well constructed, strong, stable, and massive stand. To use my 5×7 backdrop, I had to remove one of the crossbar pieces and it was still a little too big. Luckily this comes with crossbar clips to help hold backdrops in place. I do like how it all comes apart and fits into the carrying bag and with as big as it is, you really can put a lot of things on it. It’s a very robust stand and could be permanent if you wanted it to be.
Sturdy!
This backdrop stand is very sturdy and large enough for most uses. The cross pieces at the base are nice and heavy and easy to assemble and disassemble. The whole thing packs up nicely in a carrying case.
The waterbag weights are surprisingly effective. I don’t know how necessary they are, as the base pieces are quite heavy, but I was able to get about 12.5 pounds of water in the bags before it became too awkward to add more.
What really makes this a good product are the spring loaded uprights. They feel very sturdy even when extended to their full length – unlike some of my light stands. And when they screw into the base cross pieces, there’s no wobbling.

This is NO-TOOLS ASSEMBLY Backdrop Stand. The two piece floor Base pieces of the stand fit over one another and lock in position with a pin from one piece through the upper piece. The perpendicular riser fit onto a threaded post protruding upward from the base plate. My experience is. Take care in fitment of post to threaded stud assuring the post turns EASILY onto threaded stud. Once started in this manner the post continues to thread easily for the remaining area fitting fully down onto the base plate. Final turn is move tightly. Three adjustment knobs provide for heigh adjustment. Wing nut on top is removed and Horizontal rod fit onto post. Reinstalled Wing Nut secures the two pieces together. With both sides assembled with the horizontal rod in place on top the stand is ready for photo background drape to be installed. Recommended .. Four Star

Heavy cross base. Strong poles

The listing pretty much matches what I received. It isn’t all that clear about the cross poles, but the rest is spot on. I provided ample photos and one short video showing the end support poles indeed have a spring catch to keep the telescoping parts from disappearing into each other. Those poles are actually pretty strong and stiff.
The cross base is heavy. Real heavy- as heavy as some of my pro pipe & drape kits. It also seems to be more stable than many of my other slender pipe frames. I thought I wasn’t going to like the cross stands to be honest, but I do now.
None of the finish comes off. The entire product appears well made. It does come with small donuts I can fill with sand or water, but for my use, it will just get in the way.
I have no caveats to report. Price is decent for what I received. Assembly was super fast. Disassembly was just as fast. Carrying it in the supplied long pouch is no joke. The entire kit is pretty heavy.
Worthy of recommendation imho.
