How To Use NB3 Electric Nail Soaking Bowl?

  • Step 1: Use a nail file to buff the nails, breaking the gel polish sealing layer.
  • Step 2: Remove the machine's dust cover and open the machine's odor-prevention lid.(When using the machine, remove the dust cover.)
  • Step 3: Place 1 plastic bowl inside. (Note: The plastic bowl is reusable.)
  • Step 4: Place 1 cotton pad inside and pour in an appropriate amount of nail polish remover.
  • Step 5: Connect the power supply, turn on the switch, and adjust the temperature. For first-time use, set it to 40 or 50 degrees Celsius. If it feels too hot, you can lower the temperature.
  • (If you set the time, the timer will only activate after the set temperature is reached.)
  • (If you haven't set a timer, the machine will automatically shut off one hour after reaching the set temperature.)
  • Step 6: Insert your finger, allowing the nail polish to come into contact with the damp cotton pad.
  • Step 7: Once the nail polish has softened, you can use a nail file or cotton pad to remove the softened gel polish.
  • Step 8: If the nail polish hasn't softened, continue soaking until you can easily remove it.
  • Step 9: After removing the nail polish, apply nourishing oil to moisturize your nails.

Magnetic bowl did not move around while soaking
I loved this. I like you can have this heating up while prepping your nails without having it shut off. I love that this magnet is also strong enough to keep the bowl in place while soaking. The timer was great as I could watch a movie or read a book without having to think about what time I needed to pull them out or how long they’ve been in. Easy to set up, use and clean when I finished. I really love this. I use full cover tips and took off the gel color down to the actual tip did the 15 minute timer and did not have to do a second soak. Came off easily and no damaged to my natural nails. This will be replacing my old soaker.

    Easy and Effective Gel Removal
I ordered this electric nail soaking bowl to help remove nails between manicures at home. As I gain more confidence with at home nail care, investing in the proper tools makes sense. My usual method was sanding the gel off, which left my nails brittle and damaged. Using acetone, especially when warmed, speeds up the removal process.

It takes about 10 minutes for the acetone to heat up in the inner bowl, which has clear fill line measurements. The temperature display flashes while heating and then stops and beeps once the set temperature is reached. While waiting, I lightly filed the top layer of my gel polish with the file this bowl comes with.

The machine offers three timer settings: 5, 10, and 15 minutes. After soaking, the gel softened enough to remove easily with the scraper. For both hands, the entire process took me about 20 minutes, including soaking and scraping.

Cleanup was simple. I waited for it to cool then dumped the used acetone and rinsed and dried the bowl. The only potential drawback is the buttons and dial beep when pressed or turned. I sometimes do my nails during nap time, so I wish there was a way to completely silence the sound. Not a big drawback, but worth mentioning.

Overall, I am pleased with this warmer. It takes a little time to set up, but it was very easy to use for my first time and my nails look much healthier now that I’m properly removing the gel instead of sanding it off.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersNever knew I needed this - now I don't want to do my nails without it.
I’ve been doing my nails at home for several years. I rarely do full soak-offs; I use hard gel a lot, and it’s just easier to file sometimes. When I’m ready for a new set or full soak-off, I’ve been doing the bag of acetone in a warm bowl of water. It does the trick. I knew these little warming bowls existed, but always thought it was a little bit over the top / not for me.

I was wrong. Got one thanks to Amazon Vine, but like all my other reviews, this is my honest (and subjective, but not biased) opinion. This thing is… pretty awesome.

The set up is a little confusing — the black ‘bowl’ type thing is a cover that sits on top to keep the acetone from evaporating. Otherwise, it’s straightforward; fill the light colored plastic bowl with acetone (to the line), turn the little warmer plate on. Plop the black layer with finger cut-outs on top, and slide your paw into the thing. Obv, for best results, file (hand file or electric file, doesn’t matter) your topcoat / top layer of polish off and THEN plop your hand in.

I let my hand soak for maybe 10 mins, and I was shocked to find the LAYERS of black polish and soft gel coming off SO SO SO easily! I also quite like that the warmer includes a little scraper tool (aside from the acetone, it comes with everything you need).

It works WAY better than tin foil + cotton, significantly better than a plastic bag/bowl of acetone sitting in warm water, and is way easier (and less likely to damage) than filing. Love this silly thing.

A Huge Upgrade For At Home Gel Removal
Taking off stubborn gel polish at home has always been my least favorite part of doing my own nails. This heated soaking bowl has made that process much less of a chore. The warm acetone works so much faster than just a cold soak. The ability to control the temperature is a great feature with a setting of around 115F is comfortable and very effective at softening even my thickest glitter gels.

The inner bowl detaches from the heating base, which makes it easy to fill with acetone and clean out later. You’ll need to remember to thoroughly file off the shiny top coat of your polish before soaking. The warm acetone won’t be effective if it can’t penetrate that sealed layer. After a 10 minute cycle, the gel scraped off cleanly with the included metal pusher tool without damaging my natural nails.

My one wish is that the timer had a longer option. The maximum setting is 15 minutes which is fine for most gel polish, but for my dip powder nails I had to run a second cycle to get them to soften completely. It’s not a major issue, but a 20 or 25 minute option would be more convenient for tougher removal jobs.

The lid is also surprisingly useful. It does a good job of containing most of the acetone fumes, which is a huge improvement over having an open bowl sitting on my desk.

    – Detachable bowl is easy to clean
    – Adjustable heat speeds up softening
    – Reduces acetone odor significantly

It’s an excellent tool for anyone who regularly does their own gel, dip or acrylic nails, but probably not necessary for someone who only uses regular lacquer.

Soothing assistance for a home manicure
With salon prices constantly rising, I’ve taken to trying to no my own manicures at home. While I may not be as skillful as a professional, it fits my budget.

This item is more lightweight than I expected but that’s not a bad thing, In fact it was a bit of a pleasant surprise. It makes storage a bit easier as the item is not super heavy or bulky.

It’s easy to put together and seems pretty user intuitive how to operate. I seem to have gotten two disposable insert bowls which I don’t see listed in the manual but that’s okay.

I’m preferring to keep it simple and have been using it for warming up/softening my nails prior to clipping and filing them. It works nicely for that.

At the current listed price point of $45.90 I think it might be a bit steep for the average home user on a budget but if there’s a coupon or sale, I definitely think it would be enticing to others.
