The setup was very simple: I just placed the bait, plugged it in, and put it in a corner where I had seen activity. I like that it’s enclosed, so you don’t have to see anything unpleasant or touch the mouse directly

After trying various traps with little success, I decided to try this electric mouse trap, and it has been a game-changer. It resolved our indoor mouse problem quickly, cleanly, and humanely.
The trap works exactly as advertised. It is very easy to set up—just add a small amount of bait (peanut butter worked perfectly), turn it on, and place it along a wall where activity has been noticed. The electronic mechanism is swift and decisive.
I appreciate that it provides a humane, electrocution-based kill, which feels more immediate and less cruel than glue traps or prolonged suffering with poison. It’s also much cleaner to deal with; there’s no mess or blood. Simply open the lid, dispose of the rodent, and reset.
The build quality feels solid and safe. The “Keep Away From Children” warning is important, as it is an electronic device. I keep it in a secured area away from pets and kids.
For anyone dealing with rodents, this is a highly effective and efficient solution. It’s a bit more of an upfront investment than traditional traps, but its effectiveness and cleanliness make it worth every penny. A definite 5-star product.

I usually don’t write reviews but I want to comment about the one star review. The batteries do fit, if you put them in correctly. I had no issues with batteries !
I bought this to catch the 1 mouse i thought was in my kitchen and ended up catching 4 mice in 2 days! I used apple chips as bait and heard the last kill as it happened. These work instantly and it’s easy to empty and re-use immediately.

Oh my goodness!!! I set this trap on the floor and within 15-20 minutes, he was caught!!! I couldn’t believe it!!! The lights that indicate it’s on and when the critter has been caught are fantastic! I could not be more pleased with this product! The value for the money? Who caresit works!

The set up was easy. Very effective. We left it out overnight and already caught a mouse! Set up again was easy. We got snap traps before this and they didn’t fully kill the mouse, just left them injured, so we like that this humanely kills them without suffering.
