Product description
Perfect for my small kitche
My kitchen counter always felt cluttered and the corner next to the cabinets was basically dead space. This bread box fits right into it and suddenly that spot is doing actual work.
The two layers are more useful than I expected. I keep bread on one level and rolls or bagels on the other without everything getting squished together. The bamboo looks solid and warm, not cheap or plasticky, and it fits the kitchen without sticking out visually.
I have it sitting in the corner rather than mounted, and it stays put without any wobbling. Bread has been staying fresh noticeably longer than it did just sitting in the bag on the counter. I bake at home fairly often so having a dedicated spot that actually holds a full loaf without cramming it in matters a lot.
The only thing I will mention is that the two layers have a fixed height so very tall artisan loaves are a tight fit. Not a dealbreaker but worth knowing if you bake big round boules regularly.
Overall it is one of those small kitchen upgrades that makes more of a difference than you expect it to.
Better than I expected
I’m always a little leery of buying wooden things on Amazon, there’s so much that could go wrong with it but this is actually well made. I put it together in about 15-20 minutes tops. Now I would recommend you have a small screwdriver on hand because the screwdriver they provide, did not fit into the top of the screwdriver. The provided Allen key worked well though. I was a little worried at first that it would be flimsy but once you get it all together, it locks up pretty nicely. Overall the wife is very happy and now we don’t have random stacks of bread on our counter.
Good for price
It comes in a dozen pieces or so but easy to assemble. Just have a super small Phillips on hand because the one provided didn’t fit 2 small screws. Looks nice. Small, but I knew that before buying. Typical China stuff but not horrible.
Works great for what I wanted it fo
Very pretty & fits perfect in the corner of the kitchen counter perfect.
The wood is very nice & I like that it’s bamboo, since it’s a fast growing resource. The wavy look in the plastic, (not glass), is very pretty & a nice touch.
My husband put it together & he said it wasn’t hard at all.
The shelf is nice, so it doubles the room for me. I like to make home made bread & this is great for storing it.
Stylish and practical bread box
This corner bread box is a wonderful addition to my kitchen. The bamboo material looks beautiful and adds a warm, modern touch to the countertop while keeping things organized. Purchased this for my daughter’s new home. She said she put it together very quickly and it looks great and fits well on her kitchen counter. She is going to use this to keep small bay bottles and bottle nipples in for her new baby!
