Great stainless steel lunch container for everyday use.
I’ve been really happy with this lunch box and use it all the time for my work lunches. One of the main reasons I wanted it was because it’s stainless steel instead of plastic, and I really like that it doesn’t absorb odors or stain the way plastic containers sometimes do.
The size is great for packing a full meal. The 6.3 cup capacity holds a generous amount of food, so it works well for things like leftovers, pasta, salads, fruit, or meal prep portions. I’ve found it to be very practical for daily lunches.
The lid seals tightly and feels secure when closed, which is important when carrying it in a lunch bag. I haven’t had issues with leaks during normal use, and the silicone gasket helps create a nice airtight seal. The small air vent is also a helpful feature for releasing pressure when opening.
The stainless steel container itself feels smooth and easy to clean. It washes well in the dishwasher and doesn’t retain smells from strong foods like tomato sauce or spices. It’s also nice knowing it can handle the freezer or oven if needed.
There is a removable divider included, but it works best for separating dry foods. It doesn’t stay firmly in place with liquids or sauces, so I tend to just use the container as one large compartment instead.
One thing to keep in mind is that since it’s stainless steel, it’s not microwave safe. That’s expected with metal containers, but it may matter if you rely on microwaving your lunches.
This has easily become one of my go-to containers for packing meals. It’s durable, easy to clean, holds a good amount of food, and I really appreciate having a stainless steel option instead of more plastic containers.
