This is a compact rechargeable vacuum sealer designed primarily for food storage. I picked it up because we sometimes have food in our fridge that gets pushed to the back and forgotten about, and I’m hoping vacuum sealing will help extend shelf life and reduce some of that waste.
So far it’s been a solid four-star experience.
One of the biggest positives is how simple it is to use. The device has basically a single power button and it automatically shuts off once it has created enough vacuum. You don’t really need the instructions, but they’re included if you want them.
A few things I noticed during use:
* It’s USB-C rechargeable, which is great and much more convenient than older proprietary chargers.
* The vacuum process is automatic and stops once the air has been removed.
* You do need to press down firmly on the valve while it’s vacuuming to get a good seal.
* The kit includes 30 bags, which should last a while.
The bags zip closed before vacuuming. The zipper itself can be a little stiff, but the kit includes several plastic sliders that help seal the bags properly before pulling the vacuum.
I’ve only sealed a few items so far, but everything has held its seal. Watching the air get pulled out and the bag shrink around the food is also weirdly satisfying.
Build quality feels decent and the device is very compact, which makes it easy to store in a drawer.
My only real concern long-term is the ecosystem. The brand appears to be a smaller or less established brand, so I’m not sure:
* how long the device will last
* whether replacement bags will always be available
* or whether the valve system is compatible with other brands of bags
That uncertainty is the main reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5.
Overall though, it works well, it’s simple to use, and it’s a nice little tool if you want to extend the life of leftovers or meal prep ingredients.

I have been using a vacuum sealer now for 20 years and have been trying this sealer out and here are the pros and cons:

– it is very good quality and appears to be very durable
– it is cordless and has rechargable battery
– works great, a lot more powerfull than I thought it would be
– compact making it easy to use and store in drawer
– overall, it has a very good design

– the bags are BPA free

I have tried other handheld sealer like this over the past 20 years but they were all completely useless.
