This coffee scale is for much more than just weighing coffee. We even use it in the kitchen when weighing fine ingredients like salt. It seems pretty precise which is exactly what you want in a scale like this. And it’s shape is really cute.
Not just for measuring coffee
Good quality and smooth walnut finish scale, with high precision measurement. I have a similar precise measuring scale at home and after weighing the same ingredients on both scales, the weighing result is .1 g difference. It is fast and easy to use for measuring small amounts.
I use it to measure Chinese tea, herbal ingredients, spices, pill medications etc. Battery life is not long though, it needs to recharge often since there is no battery usage indication. It is crafted in solid walnut, the asking price is on the higher side.
Great for Precise Measuring
This scale is so luxurious with the walnut scoop bay, really nice quality.
I’ve been using this to weigh very tiny amounts of spices and flavourings for baking, tea, and culinary infusions, even measuring mica powder for makeup and soap -and I love that it can do this since my old kitchen scale doesn’t go below 1 gram.
It’s a precision tool so it does need to be treated gently, in my opinion. The black underside I believe, is the actual weighing mechanism so I’ve been careful not to let anything sit on top and to be sure no water or flour/powders get under there.
The rechargeable battery of this is super helpful -no more searching for button batteries which I appreciate.
I do want to highlight the importance of the 200 gram weight limit -which is about 1 measured cup. If you’re routinely weighing bigger items, this might not be the right tool for you. For me, I routinely need to weigh items under 1g so it works perfectly.
The touch control is very intuitive especially if you’re familiar with scales. It is small -basically pocket size, at about 4″ long and 3″ wide, and 1″ inch tall.
Packaging was nice as well.
Overall, a very useful and luxuriant scale and I’m very pleased to be able to precisely weigh out ingredients.
