I really love this box!
This is one of the better wooden boxes or containers I’ve owned. The wood is a good quality, nice and dense and without any ragged pieces splintering. It’s definitely not just pressed plyboard. The hardware they sent is top quality too, and none of the screws ended up with the top getting worn down just from installation. The directions are a little condensed with several steps showing multiple parts added and not always in the order you may need, so I would recommend only semi screwing each piece in until you’ve got it set up; partially in regards to sliding in the thinner back panels before attacking the other side to the first one. It wasn’t difficult, by any means, I just had to take mine apart one or twice when I realized those panels and the doors couldn’t fit due to the order I put it all in.
Once assembled, it’s very strong and solid, and just looks classy. The two individual compartments are very roomy, and with the frosted windows, you can get away with a wide array of stuff in there without looking cluttered and chaotic. The magnet on the door is strong enough to keep it securely shut, as well. I’m extremely pleased with this product, and am personally thinking I may use it on top of a dresser to sort out some make-up or medicine just to tidy up a bedroom. Really attractive piece!
Modern Bread Box
This is a really nice bread box. The acacia wood looks great and feels solid, not flimsy like some of the thinner wood versions I have seen. It has a nice weight to it and adds a warm look to the kitchen.
The size is generous and the two tier design gives plenty of room for bread and other items without taking up too much counter space. I also like the magnetic closure and the flat top.
The only minor issue I ran into was with the instructions. They are a little confusing in places. I would recommend reading through all of the steps a couple of times before starting assembly. If you do not, you might end up having to take something apart to correct a step, which is what happened to me.
Final Thoughts: Once it is put together, it is a sturdy and attractive bread box at a good price point that works well for keeping bread and other items organized on the counter.

Review of STDDRE Bamboo Bread Box:
This arrives flat packed and requires some involved assembly working with screws, hex bolts, even connecting the magnetic connector.
All hardware is included to assemble this bread box, including the tools Allen key and screwdriver. The listing claims instructions can be completed in 5 minutes but it took me almost TRIPLE that time, closer to 20 minutes to assemble.
This bread box has a rustic feel because of the natural color of the Acacia wood this bread box is made out of.
Some things to note:
Both doors have frosted acrylic windows which are only semi see-through and not clear. This is a personal preference.
Box is large. This large footprint takes up a lot of counter space.
The thing that bothered me is that only the bottom door has a magnetic closure. The top door lacks a magnetic closure and relies only on gravity to keep it closed.
VALUE: The quality of the wood is very good. This bread box is HEAVY. Heavy from quality wood, not plastic. This bread box has a large footprint. But if you have the room to spare the counter space, you’ll like this wood and acrylic box.
very nice bread box
This is a very nice bread box. It is much larger that the bread box I currently was using. I really like the double layer doors. It allows me to store different thing separately. My other bread box only allows me one area to put all my bread together in and it never wants to stay shut. This one has a very strong magnet on the bottom compartment. You have to give it a good pull to open it. It’s not going to open on it’s own. The top compartment I keep my bagels and baked goods in. It doesn’t have the magnetic lock for the top, but it stays shut as it is angled to not let it open on it’s own. I do keep these items in bags, since there is a tiny little gap in the bottom of the door. I am sure the items would be fine, I just worry something will get in the tiny crack and feast on my goodies. It was pretty easy to assemble. I did have to use help on the last side going together since it needed to be squeezed together for it all to line up to get the screws in. I like it has the shelf on top. It is an attractive piece. It is strong and sturdy. The hardware was easy to put on the doors as was the magnetic piece. If you are looking for a larger breadbox then this is the one for you.
Beautiful organizational upgrade for a kitche
This bamboo bread box is gorgeous. It does require assembly, but it was so easy to assemble and came with all the necessary tools and extra screws. Also, the screwdriver and screws were magnetized, which really improves the assembly ease and experience. The storage capacity of this double-decker bread box is huge, and it’s quite tall, so be sure to consider the size before ordering in case you want to put it somewhere below mounted upper cabinets. I’m not using mine for bread, but I am using mine to hold all the assorted items that I use daily that usually clutter my cabinet. I cannot believe the improvement to the look of my countertop. Whether you would use this for bread products or other kitchen organization, this is a beautiful, high-quality, countertop storage solution. I highly recommend this!
So useful
This has become a catch all. I toss my butter in here, my butter dish. The garlic and ginger. Other fruits that wont rot fast as well like apples or mangos. My bread is in the top, still in the bag though. If I make fresh bread I toss it in here still on the cutting board. It helps keep it soft and it doesnt get hard n dry where its been cut. I LOVE this thing.
Putting it together is easy enough, didnt take a hour and i didnt want to throw it across the room. It feels like its actual wood and not the pressed garbage. The color is nice and its not overly large and in the way on the counter. Its a great price for how often itll be used

This bread box is a huge win for me! It was easy to put together, although the instructions can get convoluted at times. I love the two layers inside. The size is great. Holds a lot of bread. The door stays shut with a fairly strong magnet. My homemade bread has definitely kept longer in this box, than in a bag on my counter. The wood is beautiful.

The beautiful, unblemished acacia wood gives it a rustic farmhouse look. While designed for bread, it’s versatile enough to store anything.
