This is a wonderful addition to our new birding hobby. We purchased a feeder with a camera, and while great, mounting it on a wood pole was an open invitation to squirrels. We got this post, which was easy to assemble, and squirrels are no longer a problem, due to the plastic shield. It adapts easily to most feeders.
Squirrel Baffle WORKS WELL!
Slightly modified with cantilever to suspend hanging bird feeder, the squirrel baffle worked correctly. Now the birds scatter the bird food onto the ground for other birds as well as the squirrels.
This it’s the second pole with baffle we have purchased. The first one is doing an excellent job. When we got a second one out of the box, it looked as though the power was all scratched up. Lo and behold, it has a plastic cover you need to peel off. . It peeled it off and it’s beautifully shiny. This was a great purchase. I have my birdfeeder on one and we are putting a birdhouse on the other.
