Very Nice BBQ Blanke
This blanket is big enough for a brisket for sure and a couple of other things. Seems to built well and insulated. The rustic tan leather color is what makes it pop and with the bold letters.
Definitely something I would show for a competition or just to show off before pulling out the BBQ. Probably best used for short transport.
Very large and can carry a bunch of meat!
I have a couple of the ones that are more like large envelopes. While I like them, you’re forced to carry the meat on its side, which spills any juices all over the place. With this one you carry brisket flat. Granted it will droop down in the middle, but at least the meat is not on its side. Yes, with the others you can carry them flat, but when you pull that meat right off the smoker and carry it a ways, it gets a little warm on the hands. Also with this one I can organize different things in it (sausage on one side, brisket in the middle, ribs on another side), and it’s plenty big to carry a bunch.

As a trained chef who has cycled through several BBQ blankets, I’ve seen all the common design flaws. This new Black version finally addresses them. Standout Improvements
Massive Capacity: The internal 19.75″ x 13″ x 6.5″ dimensions are generous, but the material has enough flex that you could easily fit two turkeys or two massive briskets. It also doubles as a cooler; it’ll comfortably hold a 24-pack and 10lbs of ice.
Top-Loading & Flat-Carry: Most blankets use a side-loading “envelope” design that’s a struggle for heavy meat. This opens fully on the top. The handles are reinforced into the sides in the correct position, allowing you to carry the bag perfectly flat—critical for preventing juices from pooling and ruining your bark during the rest.
The “Black” Texture Upgrade: Note for buyers: There are two versions on the store page. The Tan is the legacy DuPont paper, which is very slick and hard to grip. The Black version has a new textured, tacky finish. This gives you the “bite” needed to pull the zippers and move the bag without it sliding out of your hands.
Padded Handle: The removable Velcro padded handle is a nice touch—it keeps the straps together during transport but stays out of the way when you’re loading/unloading.

Zippers: Dual zippers with extension pulls are included. They’re functional, though I personally wish the pulls were a bit more robust for larger hands.
Setup Tip: The “New Bag” Smell
It arrives boxed and sealed in plastic, so it does have a noticeable chemical odor upon unpacking. Give it about 24 hours to air out, and the scent dissipates completely.
Final Verdict
This is a “chef-grade” accessory. Whether you’re resting a competition-size brisket or transporting 24 beverages on ice, the build quality and thoughtful ergonomics of this new textured black model make it the best-designed blanket I’ve seen on the market.
Very nice
This carrier is very roomy and sturdy enough to carry lots of cooked or raw food. It closes very securely for backyard or park with a very convenient carry strap. I like the way it’s made, looks really nice and a great price to keep hot or cold food until ready to use.
BBQ Blankets Are A Game Change
For those who have not used a BBQ Resting Blanket before, it truly is a game changer for your BBQ’s, roasts, and smoked meats. Using a BBQ blanket allows the inside juices to redistribute, making your meats/turkey more juicy and flavorful. They are usually foil lined, keeping your food warm as it rests, and actually will continue the cooking process while it’s in the blanket. This 21″ BBQ Blanket does not disappoint. 21″ is quite large and you can fit large cuts of meats and an18 pound turkey. This blanket opens from the top, a big advantage compared to the ones that open from the side, as it is easier to put in and take out your meats. The handles appear strong and durable. As far as cleaning, these blankets should be hand rinsed with warm water and wiped dry with a paper or kitchen towel. Do not use any soap or detergent when cleaning and this should not be put in a dishwasher. Finally, the price…..at $27.59 (the price with a coupon), it is competitively priced with others out there.
