This baby play mat has been a great addition to our floor play area. The size is really nice because it gives plenty of room for babies to roll, crawl, and play without constantly ending up on the hard floor. It works well in the living room or inside a playpen and gives kids a comfortable space to move around.
The thickness is one of the best parts. The memory foam padding makes the mat feel soft and cushioned, which is great for tummy time and for when babies are learning to sit or crawl. It helps soften little bumps and makes the floor much more comfortable for longer play sessions.

I’ve been using this playmat for my little one and it’s been a really great space for daily play. I got this play mat for our home, as we are struggling to find something for the living room floor. We need something thicker than just a throw rug, so I thought I’d give this play mat a try.
While it is described as a baby play mat, I really appreciate that it is gray. This gives it some versatility to go beyond a baby item. It blends in with any room. A lot of children’s products are very bright or graphic, and that’s great, but it’s nice to find something that would function for a baby without making your room look like a day care.
I did discover that for my purposes, it was to thick– and also that it’s just thick enough my roomba doesn’t know what to do with it. But it’s a really nice good quality mat and I wanted to find a way to use it.
I have a friend who teaches art classes to teens, and she was really happy to take this mat. She uses it in classes, for students who prefer to sit or lay on the floor. So much more comfortable for them. It is a good amount of cushion, and it’s super soft plush fabric.

This velvety soft memory foam play mat is great for infants, toddlers, and older kids. My teenage son likes to use this mat to do his stretches and exercises on as it’s a lot more comfortable than a yoga mat. This mat is super cozy and young children will be able to play comfortably on it. It can also be used inside a play pen. It is priced a bit higher than I would usually want to pay for a mat, but I do think this mat is worth its price. The backside has a no-slip grip layer to help it stay in place. This mat is not waterproof so you will want to keep that in mind as liquids will seep through out the bottom. It is washable and can be washed inside the washing machine. This mat has held up well so far and is durable.

Definite Upgrade with Plush Comfo
I recently picked up this memory foam mat for my 2-year-old niece who visits pretty often. We had an old play mat that my son used for about seven years, but it was starting to fall apart and look pretty rough. Switching to this one felt like a massive upgrade in terms of comfort. It’s 1.3 inches thick, and you can really feel the difference—it’s much more cushioned and smoother than the typical foam tiles we’re used to.
The size works well for our smaller room, providing a dedicated spot for her to play without taking over the entire floor. One thing I really appreciated was the lack of any “new factory” smell; sometimes these foam products can be pretty off-putting right out of the box, but this one was fine. I’ve actually laid down on it myself, and honestly, it’s comfortable enough that I wouldn’t mind hanging out there with her for a while.
That said, the “soft coral velvet” material is a bit of a double-edged sword. While it feels great, it’s a total magnet for dust and hair. Even though the listing mentions it’s waterproof, the fabric texture makes it hard to just wipe clean with a wet towel like a standard rubber mat. If there’s a spill, it feels like it wants to settle into the fibers rather than sit on top. I’m actually looking into getting a separate cover for it just to save myself the headache of constant vacuuming.
The price is fair, especially if you can catch it with one of the frequent coupons they seem to run. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you prioritize softness and a “cloud-like” feel for kids to tumble around on, as long as you’re okay with a bit of extra maintenance on the cleaning side.
