Sturdy and Adjustable Monitor Mou
I bought this ARES WING single monitor wall mount for my 27-inch ultrawide screen. The mount feels very sturdy and holds my monitor securely. I like that it’s fully adjustable, so I can tilt and swivel the screen easily. Installation was straightforward, but it took a little time to get everything perfectly aligned. The VESA compatibility made it easy to fit my monitor. It supports the weight well and doesn’t sag at all. The black finish looks sleek on my wall. My only small issue is that the arm could extend a little further for more flexibility. it’s a solid and reliable mount for my monitor.
Works well for our TV installation, very sturdy but included bolts didn't fit TV
While the headline for this is for a monitor installation, the description clearly stated that it could also be used for a TV, so that’s what I got it for, and it did work out well.
Installation in the corner of our room was easy, as finding a stud was no problem and it only took a few measurements to position the mount in an area where it can be moved or swiveled to the desired angle, whether that’s for watching from bed, or while working in the room.
For the most part, all the hardware we needed was included for installation, including the compatible back plate to attach to the TV. However the bolts that were included were far too small for a TV installation, so we had to track those down ourselves. I’m not sure if monitors use a different size, but if you’re installing for a TV, definitely research the size bolts you need in case you need to order them separately.
Still, even with that I think this mount is a great value for both how sturdy it is, and how nicely it presents. There is a channel for hiding the TV and HDMI cords, and the screen can move easily as needed and it’s a perfect fit for our bedroom TV viewing setup.
Heavy duty folding arm, easy to assemble and install
I have been using my Ares monitor wall mount for a few weeks now and really love all the options it gives me. Bracket to screw into the wall, a lower arm, upper arm and a standard VESA Mount plate comes with installation and adjustment hardware.
It is rated to hold up to 27 lb–I have a 27 inch touch screen monitor in place. It is solid with a sturdy counter-balancing mechanism that needs to be adjusted with the included Allen wrenches. Very critical to test the tension and weight of the monitor during installation to make sure it doesn’t spring up too hard or fall down.
I did a dry fit installation on a very solid 2×12 wooden box lower than I would use it just because I was worried about my expensive monitor falling. I was able to manipulate it and adjust it extending it all the way out or folding it back up against the wall for several days effortlessly.
I next mounted the base higher up near my computer keyboard and musical keyboards. It easily installed with self-tapping screws. The lower and upper arms slip fit together and the VESA bracket easily screws into the back of most monitors. Do not over tighten those screws! It’s just plastic on plastic, you want to fit snugly without wiggling or slipping.
The counterbalancing arm gives full range of motion side to side, tilting up and down and even easily rotates for portrait orientation–of course we have to deal with power cord, video chord, and USB card for the touch screen operation.
This really is a space saver! I have multiple touch screens, musical keyboards, other equipment all together. The ARES arm mount allows me to adjust and improvise how I am set up, whether I want the touch screen monitor up close for controls or pull back just to use it for video playback.

Great product for the money
This mount is fantastic! It works just as it should and was easy to install. The build quality is great and so is the finish on it. It holds my TV perfectly and I love the range of motion you get with it. Anyone with simple handles can install this in no time. I like how it has cord holders built in to the arms to hold all the cords neatly. It operates smooth when moving, but it’s very stable at the same time.
